Should Presidential campaigns be required to report all interactions with & maintain records when in contact with foreign govts and their lobbyists?
If it is coincidental contact such as at party or banquet or similar occasion, of course not. Especially campaigns headquartered in a place like Washington DC where conincidental and inconsequential contact with foreign dignitaries and lobbyists are impossible to avoid. Often a campaign person won't even know the other person or where he/he is from or what his/her role or job is. Specific or on purpose contact or that resulting in any information of consequence should of course be reported.
