If it is coincidental contact such as at party or banquet or similar occasion, of course not. Especially campaigns headquartered in a place like Washington DC where conincidental and inconsequential contact with foreign dignitaries and lobbyists are impossible to avoid. Often a campaign person won't even know the other person or where he/he is from or what his/her role or job is. Specific or on purpose contact or that resulting in any information of consequence should of course be reported.

1. HRC destroyed her own chances of being elected.
2. Comey knew about the Wiener laptop and HRC emails three weeks BEFORE going public with them. He went public because the NY FBI that discovered the laptop and emails was threatening to go public with the fact. Comey knew if he was exposed sitting on it till after the election the Republicans would scream bloody hell.
3. Comey had an obligation to inform Congress of the continuation of the investigation into HRC's emails.

I am not referring to the party scenes, political events crowd, rallies and such
I am referring to repeated contacts, knowing they are agents of or are working on behalf of a foreign govt

In he first place Don Jr didn't get any dirt. In the second place if she gave him dirt it would not have been illegal. In the third place she wanted to talk about Russian adoption.

Why did HRC pay for Russian dirt on Trump and the same person that was arranging that dirt met with the Russian lawyer before and after the Trump tower meeting? You seem to want to ignore that fact. :lol:

The DNC paid a private company for an investigation of Trump's connections with the Russian Govt. Don Jr. received a letter promising help from the Kremlin and instead of calling the FBI he replied that he would love it and kept the meeting a secret until the email was revealed. Address those facts and remember this....

FEC chair makes it '100 percent clear' candidates can't accept election help from a foreign power

Yeah yeah that's your spin. The fact is there was no reason to spy on Papa D or Page. And there was no reason to spy on anyone else. Trump knew there was no reason to place spies on his campaign and that he had done nothing wrong.

Supposedly Trump did not even know the criminal activities of his campaign chief Manafort and Manafort's close friend Page. How could Trump ever know the background of thee people and their Russian connections? And adversaries place spies in government positions for various reasons. Such action does not require a compromise or the blackmail of an organization's leader. Right now, there may be very well be Chinese spies somewhere in the Trump administration trying to gt information about Trump's real intentions with respect to the tariffs.

It was the FBI's responsibility to give Trump a defensive briefing and to tell him they suspected the Russians were infiltrating his campaign. Like the defensive briefing they gave Diann Fienstine when the FBI discovered her driver was Chinese spy. They did not. Nevertheless its not surprising Trump didn't trust Comey Clapper and Brennan. I don't trust them either.

Not that he will ever know since he has all but gutted the top leadership of our intelligence agencies and continues to side with Russia and North Korea over our intelligence people and our allies.
