Now, having said all that, in light of recent events (mass shootings), I support the canceling of the movie's release out of respect and deference for our fallen.

This is overblown nonsense. It's a rehashed movie on some overdone premise. Even if it were "liberals vs conservatives", it seems that the liberals are the bad guys. There's a lot of crying about this cancelled movie. It's a movie, it's not real.

Two of the four previously said that Trump should be deported. One called him m-r-f-k-r and demanded he be impeached in her first public comments after election.

They were talking about a person of a complexion different than their own. Are they also racists? Of course, they are. Trump is not.

Except blogs can't be edited by users, aren't subject to fact check, typically don't use footnotes with extensive cites to the source documents, and more. So nothing at all like a blog, and better in many ways than a "real" encyclopedia, because it covers far more subjects and 10s of thousands of volunteer experts write the entries for free, and are fact checked by hordes of other experts who read and edit a bunch of those pages.

If you could produce evidence that Wikipedia is generally untrustworthy, you'd have a point, but you cannot do that. There's been a lot of studies of Wiki's accuracy and they all show the same thing - it's excellent in most cases. I wouldn't rely on it for something critical, such as for health concerns, but it's a great starting point for a whole lot of things, and if you have a general question about, say, the Waco seige, (pick any topic, really) there's no better place online to get the basics and find a helluva lot of links (143 footnotes in that entry, to original articles). Actual researchers wouldn't do that, but for the general public, where's a better place?

There's nothing to debate really, this is fauxrage. Some invented, manufactured outrage at something that isn't even being released now based on snippets of possible information, and extrapolating some partisan response to further some long, banal, and pointless bitchfest about the other side.
 
I still have to laugh at the ass-****ing the conservative writers and producers who created this RW revenge fantasy flick took from their own people, when the Wingnut outrage machine cancelled their Ode to Gun Rights and Conservative Fortitude anthem.
