Hollywood blockbuster that satirizes killing of ‘deplorables’ causes outrage: ‘Demented and evil’

You do understand that any change to a page will trigger the software and it will let people involved in the project know, right?
Then they are either not doing their jobs, or they are complicit with some of the utter propaganda promulgated on that site.

Do you know what the word, "satire" means?

<sigh> Nevermind, continue with your unjustified righteous indignation. I've said it a million times - this is why there are no good conservative comedians. Comedy requires both intelligence and creativity - two things most conservatives sorely lack.
sat·ire

/ˈsaˌtī(ə)r/

noun

the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

Now you can explain how this movie was satire....

If you don’t see how this movie uses irony and exaggeration then you started a thread to discuss a film you know nothing about. Did Fox News trigger you on this? Or was it Rush?

Ironically, this is a flick that should be pissing off liberals while pleasing Deplorables. The hero is a deplorable; the villain, liberal elites. It’s a gun nut’s wet dream. Trouble is Deplorables are too stupid to get it, while liberals are adult enough to ignore being satirized in this fashion.

Lol...always the pleasure to interact with calamity....so, you're you're saying it's ironic that Hollywood tries to release a fantasy movie about rich libs hunting "red state" people, while in real life a die hard lib enters a downtown night spot where "red state" people gather, to kill them....hmmm you're right that is ironic. ;)

Sounds like the movie is a even more of a savagely twisted take on wealthy people ideals, such as depicted in the "Hunger Games" formatted theme.... Either way, I'd never go spend money to see it... because its "insidious that it was even made". I did not and do not care for the format and theme of Hunger Games... I do not like any of the type movies that show some-man made apocalyptic devastated landscape and savagely desperate conditions , I don't care for things like "The Walking Dead".. and I don't watch horror and slasher movies either.

Everyone is self responsible for what they "ingest"; both materially and mentally.

It's as Inhumanely Sadistic as movies like the 1915 "The Birth of a Nation" by D.W. Griffith and here we are 104 yrs later with some similar "Conjured Up" depiction of Inhumane Savagery.... and we wonder why American Society is so twisted with savage activity within our society.

You're right....

Yes, I am. Because I've interacted with you enough to know that whatever I post or say here you will either dismiss outright, argue about semantics or a technicality, or simply ignore. The fact is the Trump administration after the election and still in some areas is composed heavily of nationalist populists that appeal to the alt-right far more than any other major political entity in this country. You will deny this of course, no matter how blatant it is or how much evidence is piled in front of you.

Did that little rant make you feel superior?

Judging by the images of that crowd, the only red voters would have been the cops who shot the kid that almost never votes dead.

I think your post shows how poorly informed some conservatives are and how poor their reasoning skills are

I did not see the picture just was informed of the casualties and where it took place. Red voters are not going to a downtown entertainment district outside of Las Vegas, especially one with a significant number of minorities

Ok, so here we go. The liberal progressives are unmasking. THEY are the fascists, THEY are the hate filled people with fantasies of murdering their political opponents....This is just more proof that whatever they accuse the right of doing, that IS what they are doing.

The left's hypocrisy knows no bounds.

On top of that, the shooter’s voter record shows no votes in any general election and only two for primaries in 16 and 18.

Calling him a D voter is a typical right wing lie.

I've seen the trailer of this movie. It doesn't mention anything along political lines. Just greedy, privileged elitists kidnapping people to hunt. It's a story line that's been done to death by the makers of the Purge, a series that was done to death. Mostly, it just shows that Hollywood has no new ideas about anything. But it has nothing to do with your manufactured outrage.

The Purge movies had a great concept, with terrible execution. The first one was a major disappointment, because it was just a exorbitant excuse for a house invasion movie. The second one was the best out of the four movies, because it took place outside, and it was reasonably contained. There's also a Purge TV Series, which I watched. I found it pretty enjoyable, and it gave more depth to the world (although it's still pretty black-and- white).

Another post proving the Right has no idea what they are talking about.

LOL. It is the left who finally admitted that their so called movie was over the top and cancelled it. They went too far.

The best thing about The Purge was that episode of Rick and Morty.

Do not waste my time with wikipedia. I never bother to open the links. And nobody on the right is freaking out over NBC's coming satire. We are just pointing out the moronic hypocrisy of the left that remains on a hair trigger hoping Trump says something they can convey as encouraging violence or racism.

That's bizarre. Wikipedia is one of the truly great things about the modern internet. Tons of useful information, heavily footnoted to source documents in almost all cases, written by 10s of thousands (perhaps many more) of readers, checked and edited by millions of other readers. I'm sure there's not another site I use more often and it's not close.

No, sport. I just do not take sources seriously that can be edited by the readers, at least when it comes to politics. Okay? If you want to be taken seriously, post from a legitimate site. It's that simple.

Just curious what you might consider more "legitimate" than Wikipedia, that is fact checked by thousands or millions of readers, and links to the source documents. If not, when you go onto that page, the Wikipedia entry alerts readers to the lack of support and asks people to supply it?

Yeah. It's good for lots of sources. I use them all the time at the bottom.

It has.
Do you agree that a violent movie which depicts the slaughtering of half of Trump's base, (the deplorables as described by Clinton) is the correct way to combat real life violence?

The movie's heroes are the deplorables who were hunted but turn the tables and kill off the elites.
