Because they aren't good for anything else. You don't need a 50 round mag for hunting, you don't need to fire the .223 for home protection OR hunting, and, in the case of the Bushmaster, it is a version of a military weapon. It doesn't matter if it's not full-auto or "burst" capable, it was made for killing people. Guns like the AR or the AK, even the semi auto ones, can fire quickly. They are better for murder than self defense. That's why militaries use them.

YOu're lying yet again. Lots of competitive shooters use what you all call high capacity mags. There are millions and millions of "high capacity magazines" and few have ever been misused. and I really don't need someone who obviously hasn't a clue about firearms telling me why these guns are better for murder than self defense. Your claim is a bald faced stinking lie because almost every police department issues semi auto or FULLY AUTO rifles to their employees with 30 round magazines

Now I feel no need to own a 100 round magazine. they make my rifles bulky, hard to use and they are not reliable. But I know people like you won't stop at 100 rounds, 50 rounds, 30 rounds, 20 rounds or 10 rounds,

Saying that police use them proves MY point. For all you claim to know about guns, you know nothing about how they're used. The cops use them because they are afraid of being out gunned by criminals.

Anyone who believes that individual constitutional rights should be curtailed for everyone, due to the actions of a few, that is hating the constitution.

Definitely. I have a tradition, when I get there, the first place I stop is a Skyline chili. Big bowl of chili with cheese and a hot coffee. I usually don't drink coffee with meals, but one time I rode there, I was so cold I didn't want anything cold. I mean my hands were so cold, I cold barely pull my clutch lever to shift. Surprisingly, they were great together. So anytime I have to go there, that's priority 1.:):peace

Yup...and we really need to figure out why these males are so angry and why they cant control their emotions like adults?

From most they get alive and interview, or from the dead ones's papers, social media, people that knew them...it seems the common thing is blaming others for their failures...with women, with jobs, from not getting women or jobs, etc.

Are we as a society enabling large numbers of a gender to remain toddlers?

there was a claim that takes away constitutional rights would be legal. That happened with FDR and American citizens who had the "wrong" heritage. It was "legal"

Can you give ways in which society is enabling these losers? Most of these mass shooters are loners.

I do say. The first picture is not an assault rifle, btw, it’s the M249 light machine gun. Those are meant to fire on full automatic and do use larger magazines.
As for the second picture, there’s no rule against using personal magazines...he was not issued that.
