Mild truth? Do you understand the implications of that statement? The freedom he is speaking of is having to worry about how his actions would be interpreted by the American public and if it would hinder his reelection bid. Is it the truth? Yes, but if you are postponing something purely due to that then obviously you recognize that it is something the American people at best will have mixed feelings over or worse completely against.

Elijah Cummings isn't the only member of Congress that voted for impeachment, but he may be the only Chairman of a Congressional Committee to do so. It's noted that Trump didn't rail on any of the white members of Congress via Twitter.

Victor Blackwell gave an emotional response, illustrating Trump's knack for using 'ping' words such as 'infested' to appeal to his racist base. Anyone that defends this immoral, unpatriotic, morally bankrupt president is on the ugly side of history.

Trump said NOTHING about Cumming's race. Trump was spot on about Cumming's Baltimore district. Its one of the worst places in the United States to live. I have ZERO sympathy for him after his little act he did for TV cameras. Its Cummings and congress fault . They could stop it but they won't.

No matter how you spin/interpret/suspect what Obama said/meant, it's nowhere near as bad as what Trump has openly said.

The right was excoriating Obama -- I was there throwing my punches at him also.

But now, with Trump openly worse than what Obama was being accused of, the right is going "meh". That's a large part of why I know I no longer belong on the right. I won't bow down to Putin and I won't excuse people who do, but you do.

And in other News San Francisco has bubonic plague in its large rat population. Trump is just telling the Truth about Baltimore. It needs to be cleaned up. The crime and filth are out of control.

Conspiring against the interest of the American people with a foreign country? Trump has said some messed up things but I don't believe he has openly said anything worse than that.

If a recording of Trump came out of him telling Putin that he would have more freedom after the 2020 election, heads would be exploding in both parties. Unless it was percieved as an obvious troll/joke mocking Obama he would have zero chance at reelection (assuming he wasn't immediately impeached)

This quote is very telling.. Trump is saying the people who now live there aren't human beings.

More red meat for his racist base.. Too much red meat isn't good though. The day is going to come where the GOP is going to be veeeery sorry they sat back and let the racists take over the party. And that they are still sitting back and letting Trump drive away every minority.

Trump is absolutely racist - but this is just fake outrage. Cummings wasn't attacked based on his race. Trump has railed on countless white members of congress.

I hate sticking up for our ****bag in office - but this "lets make everything said to or about any one of color" racist nonsense is just stupid. The race baiting by many of the leftists is just as racist as Trump himself. You aren't fixing anything by crying racism every time a person of color is involved in an argument.

Baltimore, Mariland, has a murder rate of 55.77 per 100,000 capita. That puts it a #21 in the world, on par with many of the Central American cities/ countries that people seek asylum from. Lebonon, had a murder rate of 3.99. Looks like Beruit may be much safer.

I don't see any reference to "rat" or "infestation" in your links. You said you had evidence that "everyone" views them as racist words. Where's the evidence?
 
Well ten pages later a countless number of anti trumpers and lefties went after Trump's tweets over the condition of Cummings district.
. And of course the first cry out of them is RACIST RACIST RACIST because Cummings is black.

Trumps response was from a report that aired early on Fox and Friends this morning. A Maryland resident happens to be black and is quite familiar with Baltimore. She went and videoed the crap holes in Cummings district where kids have to live in filth. Yet Cummings stood on his soapbox during a hearing railing at border patrol over not caring for the children coming across the border claiming they were living in filth. She showed him to be a hypocrite.

He can't help himself. He's supposed to only go far enough that his carers can wind back what he said, once the message has been sent. His trouble is, he keeps saying the bits that should be left unsaid!
