Trump's only strategy to energize his base these days is to make attacks on brown skinned people. It's become a daily occurrence. Find someone or some group of brown skinned people and say something horrible about them. SMH.

Unfortunately, the Dems are usually correct about the racist undercurrent that themes the Conservative mindset. This is just one of those cases where people have needlessly exaggerated an issue in order to fit it into the established and understood narrative. You know, like exaggerating Bush into a Hitler or exaggerating the imperfections of ObamaCare into "that Kenyan-born Muslim wants to destroy America."

Trump does not get to encourage Neo-Nazis and supremacists at rallies and then behave as if he is just too stupid to know what he is doing or what his constituency is made of. Where once the Parties were divided along racial issues before and after the Civil War, the Compromise of 1877 settled the issue (the introduction of Jim Crow) and moved the Parties towards their "big tent" identities where both tents held conservatives and liberals. Then came the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, where whites drew towards the GOP and minorities drew towards the DNC. Today, we see a clear distinction again and race issues are a factor. The consistency here is racism, which was first represented by the Democrats, then the Republicans, but always Conservative.

And the average Conservative, who has betrayed his former expressions of conservatism in order to build personal altars of worship towards Trump, doesn't get to pretend that their inner fears of everything not like them isn't a driving force for their blind allegiance towards Trump's extremist behaviors. The evidence is quite clear. From calling the Obama's monkeys, to trying to define MAGA as Antebellum, to Swastikas and white hoods, to recorded voices of clear racism from elected officials...it's all coming out of the Conservative camp. He preys on that irrational fear and the easily manipulated have fallen for it, while denying all racism.

But no, this was not a racist issue from Trump. Just an unnecessary exaggeration of his routine unprofessional behavior to fit the narrative.
 
Too many American blacks live in deplorable conditions in places like Baltimore, St. Louis and Chicago. For decades these people have lived in hopelessness. In Baltimore alone there were 309 homicides last year. Their schools are in terrible condition where you would be hard pressed to find a functioning toilet and the children are well below grade level in learning. Unemployment is high because the leadership from mayor to representatives who for many decades have been run by Democrats have done nothing to initiate economic policies to bring jobs to the area. They have failed these people. Their infrastructure has been allowed to completely crumble. Many are on government assistance and rely on charities for their needs.

The first thing that needs to be done is to focus on public safety and raising the quality of education. I hope this story stays at the forefront and those responsible for policies that have allowed this to happen are held accountable. There has been a lot of money over the years poured into Cummings' district that the people did not benefit from.

Here is a video that has surfaced that shows Mayor Pugh walking the streets of Baltimore saying she could smell the rats.



It should be noted Mayor Pugh has been embroiled in her own scandal profiting from her job as mayor.

I am an average conservative. My father was a founding investor in National Review, and he had an integrated waiting room back in the '50's when nobody else did. I've built an altar to no man. I'm not easily manipulated, I have no irrational fears, and I don't own a white hood. I regard all as my brothers and sisters because each one of us is a child of God. I see others as uniquely created individuals, which generally prevents me from lazily overgeneralizing and tagging others as members of this group or that. You should try this sometime.

I'm not sure I have ever commented on Trump's policies one way or another. What I do frequently post is that I respect the Office of the Presidency.

I think the never-ending attacks on Trump and the MSM's coverage have been unfair (and also too often just stupid and petty and ugly), and I think a growing number of voters are getting mighty tired of "Orange Man bad."

After looking at how many votes he received in the Republican Primaries (before they used Clinton as their excuse in the General), you should check out his approval rating among Conservatives and Republicans today, no mater what he say's or does. Shocking, considering that family-oriented, high standard Christian Conservatives can so ignore a representative who is a serial adulterer and soliciter of sex from pornographers.

Like so many Conservatives, you fool yourself, which is why a man like Donald Trump is the easily forgiven conservative representative today.

Please post evidence of Cummings "rarely visiting" his district. And I don't mean some blog from some Trump fluffer, either. Evidence of his travel schedule.
