A rise in premature births among Latina women may be linked to Trump's election, study says

Yeah, we know you conservatives, science you don't like is crap> yet, you don't point to any flaws in the study. You didn't even read the study, yet, it must be crap.

If you had a clue you would know the statement "In the nine months beginning with November 2016, about 3.2% to 3.6% more preterm births to Latina women occurred above the levels of preterm births that would have been expected had the election not occurred, " alone shows it to be crap. If you had a clue you would ask how in the world they determined how many premature deaths WOULD have occured had Trump not been elected and how they established causation between Trumps election and the change in rate of premature births. They simply found a correlation and simply claimed their was causation.

And I thought that even though I rarely watch CNN there are some things here that apparently need to be pointed out to you about this story. First of all CNN in no way shape or form conducted, sponsored, funded, or played any role whatsoever in the creation of this medical study. And nor did they put their own opinion, spin or interpretation of it's findings or assign any blame to anyone.

Of course they did. "In the nine months beginning with November 2016, about 3.2% to 3.6% more preterm births to Latina women occurred above the levels of preterm births that would have been expected had the election not occurred, " They took "Meaning The 2016 presidential election may have been associated with adverse health outcomes of Latina women and their newborns." Speculation as to what "MAY" have been the cause and reported it as fact.

Try using your brain.

How can an election, even of Trump, affect the biology of any women, let alone Latinas?

Wow. You cannot be serious? It is what is called stress. Stress affects pregnancy. Incredible you didn't know that.
