Now Trump is saying that making comments like "send her back" is wrong. So he's essentially saying the members of his base at the rally are racists. And he's lying to do it.

Trump is throwing all his supporters who defended his well known racist trope of "go back where you came from" under the bus, to protect his political image.

How do Trump supporters feel about the POTUS apparently calling you racists? How do you feel about him lying to do it, saying he was trying to stop the chant so he act like the anti-racist?

Yes, he took John Kelly's place as 'acting' Chief of Staff. 'Gym' Jordan... there's a piece of work. I can't wait to see how he's going to hammer on Robert Mueller in next week's hearing.
 
This ancient observer of the passing parade is looking forward to the next of President of the United States of America Donald Trump's campaign rallies. I'll be listening for 'Send her back!' from the massed faithful. It may become a 'wink-wink' part of the rallies to come.

Saying "you're wrong" (even without the ignorant "Ms. Maddow" high school crap) isn't showing everyone how I'm wrong. Now why don't you prove my post wrong.

And while you're at it, post some evidence about what the DNC "knows". Did you hack into their servers or something? Let the rest of us see what inside information about what they "know" that you claim to have access to.

Wow, this is the, what, 6th claim you've made about having inside information or something? Let's see your evidence of what Independents like or don't like. Did you interview them all? All millions of them? I know you didn't interview me. Because I'm now Independent, and will say again how wrong you are. I like a lot of their candidates. I like every single one of them better than the lying fraud named Trump.

Or it morphs into "Send Them Back!" referring to any other Americans who don't agree with a certain point of view. It's not a long path to get there either, because Omar represents people of a certain view, so attacking those who have a similar view becomes pretty easy for those who think themselves "real Americans"; a description that's laughable.

Conservatives fight for their First Amendment rights, claiming it allows them to chant 'lock her up' or 'send them back', but when anyone else that's not a Trump fan, speaks up about the way minorities or immigrants are treated, then they don't believe in the First Amendment so much.

No, he is PRECISELY saying they are "wrong". The crazy on the left just see race everywhere. Omar will have to first be convicted for her immigration fraud before they can "send" her back. Until then they can only make the suggestion that she go of her own accord.

I used to be a straight-R ticket voter. Until Trump opened my eyes to how disgusting the Republicans are.

I'm voting for my Republican governor for re-election, that I know. And I'm not voting for Trump, that I also know. The rest is TBD.

Calling someone Ms. Maddow (its actually Dr. Maddow) is a pretty high compliment given that holds a PhD in Political Science from Oxford. She is undoubtedly the best educated and likely most intelligent talking head on TV. You may not like her politics, but she is one very smart lady. If you called Tres Ms. Maddow, the rest of us can only conclude that you are in awe of her intellectual prowess.

Regardless of what the forum says, Trump, even in a very strong economy, can not muster more than a 45% approval rating, has 53% of the country saying he is unfit for office (can't do the job) and 59% saying they will not vote for him. Not to mention the fact that he is currently down double digits in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa and down nearly double digits in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Ohio. He is also down in North Carolina and Georgia (ok call Georgia a push). Trump can't afford to lose any of those states, really, much less all of them.

Sorry pal, but there is no empirical basis to support the notion of Trump's re-election. All you have is your wishful thinking. Expressing your wishful thinking is not debate.

Thank you. I will take your praise as literal because it is deserved.

Far from incompetent, the crowd is literally having too much fun. Trump is the acknowledged master of this sort of speech. As such, he knew to wait it out and get immediately back on point.

If you want supporting facts, look at the attendance figures. No one else fills venues like he does.

He didn't compare me to anyone... and if he did, it would be an insult for Trump is pretty widely regarded as a despicable man, even among his supporters....

My "wishful thinking", unlike the poster I was admonishing, is backed up by facts. There is no factual foundation for Trump's re-election; there is plenty, if not overwhelming evidence, that says its re-election will not likely happen. That makes those that think Trump will be re-elected operating strikly on wishful thinking.
