I pay taxes thus pay for hte services I am getting from the federal, state, and local governments which is more than I can say about you. More than ever before, people have to be careful of what they read and fact check everything. The 2020 election is going to be dreadful to say the least and if the Russians or Chinese are fully engaged in interfering with our election, they will do a lot of harm. But if people read something or see an advertisement that doesn't seem quite right, no matter what your politics are, we all need to be vigilant and expect many stories or theories are generated by adversaries.

I work the polls and the voting machines that I have always seen and operated are not connected to the web or anything else. Is this a joke or what.

I am curious. Does anyone else work the polls and actually have voting machines connected to the web. I have never heard of such a thing.
