Jeffrey Epstein Is Denied Bail in Sex Crimes Case

Him absconding would be a disgrace for America. It would be saying, "billionaires can rape children in America".

Bail is not an option.

I hate to say it, but granting him bail and watching him flee the country would have been right in line with the nation's dysfunctionality right now.

Because I hate the sound of children's laughter.

I'm only saying that there was always a chance that bail was granted, however abhorrent that would have been.

Especially considering that as a result of fleeing the authorities, there would be far less chance of finding out who the co-conspirators were. It is kind of surprising those power players couldn't finagle a way to get him out of the U.S. Kind of like when Konstantin was allowed by Ukraine to flee to Russia...oops.

People can only abide so much economic privilege. If the 1% starts letting child traffickers escape justice, we might have a revolution.
