WHat happened to moving or getting a better job? Typical right wing hypocrisy

Who's saying reward them? If you think a $15/hour wage is some type of reward.. then you haven't crunched the numbers on how much money it takes to raise a family in the world today.

Or the giant bailout to farmers from Trump because he was afraid of losing his ass with that electorate. Hypocrisy knows no limits in conservatism.

Don't blame Clinton or foreigners. Most low paid workers are service workers. McDonalds can't ship those jobs to China.

The problem is that unions have been on a decline and the owners of the businesses can grab most of the profits for themselves, while workers have no bargaining power. That's why there has been a concentration of income.

For the most part, they are, but there is a time where working smarter than harder comes into play, but again, you say options are limited, I say bull****, people are limited, options are out there, I went from homeless, to making 100K a year....but hey, let's excuse others for not making choices.

Until their jobs get replaced....you hit most businesses with a 50-100% wage increase, people are getting laid off, jobs are getting automated, etc. But don't let reality hit you in the head.

I most certainly will. I saw high tech jobs paying $20+/hr in the late 90's close plant's like crazy after he signed free trade deals in the world. I was making $72k base when I was laid off in 2002, when my job was shipped to Malaysia. It too me several years to make that much again in another job because we then had a surplus of skilled labor. Supply and demand of labor brought down our wages, dramatically.

I blame illegal immigrants for keeping our low skill jobs down in wages. Again, supply and demand of labor.

Yep. As manufacturing jobs die, union membership and power dies with it.

Excess of available employees makes it harder to organize a union.

Again, blame president Clinton for selling out our nation with free trade.

It causes the cost of goods sold of everything to increase, and since the tax rate also increases,
the people at the bottom have less effective disposable income.

$15 per hour??? Why not $50 per hour, or $100 per hour. $15 per hour gives an employee $31000 per year and of course that won't do anything to prices of say a hamburger will it? Cost of an Apartment? Cost of food and other services? Do you people really live in an alternate universe where rising wages have no impact on prices? How does rising prices impact your $15 per hour wage?
