Republican support for Trump rises after racially charged tweets: Reuters/Ipsos poll

I'm telling you that when you look at it from that angle, it's not about race, it's about experience,

But without playing the race card, people on the left have NOTHING. No policy, no agenda, no ideas, nothing.

Experience.

So we need politicians with experience now?

What kind of experience? Reality TV? Real estate magnate balls deep in Russian money? Bankruptcy king extraordinaire?

I'm just wondering - if it's truly not about race, but experience, why does the highest office in the land not have to have experience?

What is the difference between those 4 women, in your opinion, not having experience, and Trump not having experience?

And while we are at it, in the 116th Congress, only 41% had political experience prior to being elected. 41%. This is the least experienced freshman class in the history of the House.

So why are these 4 women being singled out again?

The problem as you people see it is in who you are deeming "Americans"....

People who were born here, or became naturalized citizens?

Are there other Americans that we haven't been told about?

Secret Americans filmed on a sound stage in beautiful downtown Burbank?

Don't you understand the math? Get with the program, woman.:2usflag:

Debt under Obama = BAD!
Debt under Trump = GOOD!

Meeting with dictators under Obama = BAD!
Love affairs with dictators under Trump = GOOD!

Obstruction of justice from Clinton = BAD!
Obstruction of justice from Trump = GOOD!

Shutdowns under Obama = The Presidents fault!
Shutdowns from Trump = Anybody else's fault!

Affairs with Clinton = IMMORAL!
Affairs with Trump = "WE'RE NOT ELECTING A POPE!"

Booming economy under Obama = Socialism
Booming economy under Trump = Heaven on Earth.

Not afraid of you, buddy. I've been listening to glam rock for days. I will take you down with rhinestones, flying V guitars and extra large cans of Aqua Net.

Such as?

I'll be the judge of your rock credentials.

I've got the guitar, the leather chaps, the ripped shirt, the long hair, the fishnet stockings, and ... oh my god, did I just say that out loud.

 Let’s see. Nothing too out there. Slaughter, Tesla, Cinderella, a few others. Haven’t gone down the rabbit hole too far yet.

Sounds like maybe you have though?

Only Tesla is acceptable.

But Slaughter? Cinderalla? WTF! You've been hitting the green lantern.

Me? A little Thin Lizzy here, some Saxon there. You know, bands with family values.

And they all did....

then there was this....

So, maybe you're not up to speed, glad I could help...;)

I voted for him, that doesn't mean that I like the man....It only means that I wanted him to do what he was saying he would on the stump, and so far he has...Regardless of what BS liberals are throwing at him....

McCain though was a different animal. He thought he could play the game with libs, and make friends, when all they did was use him as a cudgel against other Republicans, then when he ran, they turned on him like jackals...

Well, in the Trump scenario in 2016 he was a non option for me because I was well acquainted with his schtick and obnoxious persona. I had a slight hope he might shift a bit once in office, but that hope disappeared pretty quickly. Some one like Trump forces the question whether as a nation we care (or don't) about rewarding that kind of behavior with leadership in exchange for financial gain.

As for MCCain, there's that old idea of actually working with the opposition; otherwise you don't have governance. The politics of old required compromise because our system of government doesn't work very well otherwise. We're going down hill pretty quickly in that now we're requiring one party control in order to make things happen; this is the road toward becoming a banana republic.

You have to have two willing to work with each other to make that possible...Right now, there are NO democrats willing to do anything they see as giving Republican's a victory...Just caving in to do what the opposing party wants is NOT compromise.

It was that way during the last presidency as well, and I don't see that changing unless there's some kind of political sea change. It will likely be "tit for tat" and the erosion of governance. I hope it isn't the case, but I don't see a catalyst for change unfortunately.

Oh no, that is absolutely the case...We are already in that boat in the ocean....Think about it...Take a look at the threads, and postings in here...Of three threads in the first page, including this one, it is really little more than liberals in here labeling Republican's or Trump voters as 'Racists' for holding a differing opinion on the stories posted...What compromise can be had when that is the default position?

I watched the debate, and if I have to rely on you for "getting me up to speed" on just about anything, I'll quit politics completely and move to Switzerland or something.

What he said was a slip of the tongue. Even your link says as much, so not sure why you feel the need to "get me up to speed" on anything.

Your comment was asking "who we deem as Americans" in response to RN's comment regarding values of the Constitution.

You do know that the Constitution protects non-citizens as well, don't you? Those pesky "illegals," as y'all call them, are protected also.

Also, the term "illegal" is a misnomer. A person can't be illegal. That would mean Bobby down the street is an illegal because he stole a pack of cigarettes from the 7-11.

Nope. That's what you say to justify the cruelty of today's GOP.

Oh yes, (SMH), it was so cruel of Trump to beat Hillary in the 2016 elections.
The Dems have not let up on the cruelty shown to Trump or his base for one minute out of the day.
Russia, Russia, Russia?
You think the constant race card playing is a winning strategy? You think wanting to impeach a president for his tweets that don't pass the left's scrutiny is a winning strategy?

Dream on....

The Dems ought to point their moral compass back at themselves.

I give your weird non-sequitur rant a C-.

Ruh-roh, looks like you missed a couple of things in that poll:

Among independents, about three out of 10 said they approved of Trump, down from four out of 10 a week ago. His net approval - the percentage who approve minus the percentage who disapprove - dropped by 2 points among Democrats in the poll.

Trump’s overall approval remained unchanged over the past week. According to the poll, 41% of the U.S. public said they approved of his performance in office, while 55% disapproved.

****bag is going to need 90% Republican support to overcome losing those I's and D's who voted for him in 2016 and regret it now. So even the fact that the top line numbers haven't changed, the losses of the very people who got him in (not counting Putin, of course) is horrible news. Calling this poll a "WIN" is like "winning" a free coffin---wooooHOOOOOO!

No ****.

Just go to youtube and look at all the hicks telling people to go back to their country.

Own it.
Just look at all the hicks calling Trump's tweets racist. Own it.
