So while I understand that it's politically unwise to call any supporters of your political opponents bad names, can somebody clarify for me why saying that there were deplorable people within Trump's base was inaccurate?

Her exact quote:

“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”

Was she being too kind when she said it was half?

I think it was more of a response of not being politically correct,

Too many people are tired of having to tip toe around every Tom Joe and Harry because someone somewhere MIGHT be offended...

You know how perverse this is, Pro Athletes have to hire people to go and scrub their social media, because as a society now, we feel that something someone said 20 years ago, or 10 years ago, DEFINES them how they are now... that people are incapable of growing and changing,

It is asinine to the level it's become.

You got it backwards, but it's okay the GOP is pretty backwards these days......Where is Trumps healthcare plan? Infrastructure plan? What's his end game with the tariffs? Whats his plan to reduce the deficit and debt? How is he going to pay for the tax cuts? Because original plan of them paying for themselves not happening......Is Mexico paying for that wall yet....Trump tweets more than he plans....If hes not tweeting, being racist, dividing our country, the round orange puff can found on a golf course...tax payers expense no less....

If truth is your standard here, does that mean you think that three of the four congresswomen weren’t born in the US? Or maybe you think it’s fair to assume anyone with brown skin isn’t from here?

This country is sick and tired of the politically correct BS being foisted upon us from the left.

Senator Lindsey Graham made it quite clear that these Four Freshmen congresswomen are communists.

It doesn't matter if they're white, brown, purple, or green - what matters is they are communists.

They want to "fundamentally transform" this country into a third world sh*hole, so we can all enjoy the benefits just like Venezuela, and eventually we can go belly-up just like the Soviet Union.

It is encouraging to me that people like these for Communists are finally being called out. I for one have had more than enough of their slander and their BS, and as far as I'm concerned, the president can get in their faces anytime he wants.

As it turns out someone is stupid, not the economy. I couldn't have said it any better than Kamala Harris, so I'll paraphrase;

"He has done nothing to help working families in America. He passed a tax bill benefiting the top 1% and the biggest corporations in our country. He has conducted trade policies through tweets in a way that farmers are looking at bankruptcy and auto workers are looking at the potential for their jobs to be gone by the end of the year. The American consumer is paying 1.4 billion dollars more every month purchasing everything from shampoo to washing machines because of his so-called trade policy. He hasn't done anything to rebuild our infrastructure including what comes with that in terms of improving and elevating the condition of working families. What does he do? He distracts by lighting fires around issues of race and ethnicity. The United States cannot survive another four years of a president that uses whatever voice he has in a way to fuel hatred and divide our country. The American people will not tolerate that kind of hate from the president for another four years."

No, I actually have reading comprehension. I understand quite well what the president said. Young Omar needs a little experience before she spouts off telling the president how to do his job. Till then she's just a blowhard, she's done nothing, she's accomplished absolutely nothing except pissing off her own leadership.
