I'm not ignorant. I'm the one who pointed out to you that this rule was specifically added to protect Trump in 2016.
Are you not aware that striking the statement requires a majority vote, and that no such majority vote was successful? Why do you only care about some of the rules and not others? I have an errand to run but can come back in a couple hours and explain this to you.
Perhaps in the meantime you'd care to explain why you make no condemnation of the President's racist tweets yourself. YOU are not subject to parliamentarian rules, you have no such excuse.
You are ignorant on parliamentary procedure. The rules in relation to verbiage about the president go all the way back to Thomas Jefferson. Afterwards, they were Amplified during the Nixon presidency, when Tip O'Neill was the Speaker of the House.
You can scream racism all you want, it doesn't make it so. Liberals are clearly demonstrating how much they know about things, which is far as anyone can tell is near zero. And here they are trying to tell us how to run the country. These stupid and totally transparent political games reek to high heaven, and anyone with a brain cell can see exactly what's going on.
Steny Hoyer took the reins and declared Nancy Pelosi's comments out of bounds, BECAUSE HE HAD TO. He had no choice.
