Trump Tells Freshman Congresswomen to ‘Go Back’ to the Countries They Came From

Are you suggesting that it matters to the Right that the President of the United States of America has said that the countries the congresswomen came from [Ed.: For one it's Somalia and for the other three it's the United States of America,] are ones "whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all) ..."?

A simple 'yes' or 'no' answer will suffice.

NEWS FLASH: This isn't an economics thread.

Your line of argument seems to be that we should ignore Trump's racist and xenophobic beliefs because of the economy. That's the equivalent of a defense lawyer asking the jury to ignore the fact that the defendant committed murder because he gives a lot of money to his church. The second does not give a pass for the former.

So what are your examples of recreating their homeland? You do realize that "go back to" Italy, Somalia, Ireland, Russia, the Bronx?, is an old story, retold in the US every couple of generations. Trump is just the latest incarnation of the Know-Nothings. Make America Hate Again.

After 35 years in the private sector and seeing politician throughout that period I have found that buying rhetoric isn't anywhere near as important as actual results. NO, what Trump says is less important than the results generated and as pointed out all those so called Experts, the AOC gang of four do nothing but trash this country while actually having a background from other countries that are a fiscal and social disaster. Seems that the left prefers to ignore the words of AOC and her gang while focusing on the President who is putting America first.

Although the Gang of 4 do mostly come from this country they represent districts and states with mostly Democratic Representation and fiscal disasters yet they cannot get their state to solve its own problems thus it has to bash the President for doing what they cannot get done in their own states. You think that NY is a fiscal and social success? how about Michigan? Somalia certainly isn't and although one was born in Ohio that is the only state that seems to be getting it right and that has a Republican Governor

You and your ilk have made it a racial thread and the results prove you as usual being wrong. You cannot seem to get your own state right so you move on to the National issues none of which represent the mess that most liberal states are in so you try to focus on race. Tell me how 6.0% unemployment for African Americans make Trump a racist?
 
It's 2014. Marco Rubio says obamacare is awful and should be repealed, and that the US is doomed under Democrats. Barack Obama says it's a shame Rubio would criticize the US so much considering his country is a s***hole, and maybe he should go back to Cuba (one of the most corrupt and inapt countries in the world) and fix it before complaining about America.

What would conservatives say ? :lamo

It's not about hatred, why is that the first thing you go to?

Let me ask you this, is it WRONG, to expect people who come to the United States, to observe the US laws, language, culture, at the very least be respectful of them? If it's not wrong, ask yourself is it happening? It's not, people are coming to the United States, and trying to recreate their homeland, at the EXPENSE of American culture, laws, customs, etc, that's not assimilation...

American culture, laws, customs, are a result of the melting pot :lol: saying "stop changing my culture" when the US culture is based on foreign influence and immigration is funny as hell.

I have no idea if Trump will win re-election, it will have a lot to do with who the challenger is. Stop fluffing Trump's appeal, he's a moron and a bad person, a bad president and he's bad for the nation. Maybe a lot of people buy into Fox/Tucker/Hannity/Brietbart, Stephen Miller's racism, etc. But I really doubt it will be enough...based on my 100% opinion/guess <- see how easy that is?

Interesting how your perception ignores results but is reality to you. A total and complete catastrophe by what standards? You read too much into the media reports and rumors totally ignoring the actual results. This gov't for all seems to have meant appeasement to other governments and special interest groups. I defy you to prove that Americans aren't better off today than they were under Obama and especially on January 21. 2017?

Don't know what it is about liberalism but it certainly isn't an understanding as to the role and responsibilities of the President which solely rests on providing for the common defends which means border control. You may call that racism but I call it protection of Americans which is required by the Constitution. You want to buy what AOC and her gang promote while ignoring exactly what costs her proposals and ideas will be to the American people

The worst and most corrupt seems to be perception but tell me exactly what Trump has done that has hurt you, your family, or even the country because it doesn't show up in anything other than media reports, opinions, and hate rhetoric.
