Trump applauds far-right social media provocateurs

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump used a White House conference Thursday to applaud far-right social media provocateurs even as he conceded that some of them are extreme in their views.
Trump, who has weaponized social media to eviscerate opponents and promote himself, led a “social media summit” of like-minded critics of Big Tech, excluding representatives from the very platforms he exploits.
The president used the event to air grievances over his treatment by Big Tech, but also to praise some of the most caustic voices on the right, who help energize Trump’s political base.

“Some of you guys are out there,” he told them. “I mean it’s genius, but it’s bad.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A summit of far-right pundits that will never run out of fabricated conspiracy theories we welcomed to the White House. Among the guests was none other than Ali Alexander, a right-wing operative that tweeted that Sen. Kamala Harris isn’t really “an American Black,” and of course, Trump re-tweeted it. Then there was a pro-Trump “memesmith” who goes by the screenname “@CarpeDonktum,” and blogger Jim Hoft, whose Gateway Pundit blog frequently promotes hoaxes. Of course Matt Gaetz and Marsha Blackburn attended, they need to be on their toes to prepare for the upcoming Mueller testimony next week.

InfoWars reporter and Alex Jones's lieutenant Owen Shroyer raged that no one from InfoWars was invited to the event, while people who hadn’t been banned from social media outlets were.
:lamoWhen you're starting to piss off the lowlife, things must be getting pretty bad.

Get your stories in sync guys!

Luckily, Obama never praised or rewarded his army of ridiculous fellators in the media.

:donkeyfla

Apparently so; only pro-Trump, right-wing bloggers and "social media" folks were invited, and I doubt it's because those who were not pro-Trump or right-wing had all their invitations lost in the mail, lol. How gullible can folks be?

How gullible? Well, socialist Progressives and other liberal are certainly proving how gullible they are. I never thought such levels could be reached.

Explain how the left gets to define who should be attending meetings the President wants to have?

Have the gullible really reached the threshold of subservience to the cause that they believe they are the ones to decide?

Well there is common sense. Unappealing as that may be to the right whing. If you're having a social media summit it might be a good idea to invite social media companies. Just a thought. If you're having a whine and bitch fest about social media, then you invite a bunch of right whiners and keep the guest list secret.

I think it's a good idea to ignore the whimpering from radical ideologues who are so indoctrinated they think they should define what kind of meetings the President should have.

You forgot to quote yourself saying this in your comment;

"Laughingly, one CNN report was titled: "Trump invites right-wing extremists to White House 'social media summit'"

is there any wonder why CNN can't keep digging deeper in the sewer? "

Posting the title right on social media is equivalent to announcing it to the world. Just stop now, you're really embarrassing yourself.

I imagine you actually thought this post would unbury you from the failure you experienced when you couldn't back your claim.

It didn't. Such efforts usually have to make sense for there to have any chance of doing so.

Trump just keeps insulting his base, but they just keep worshiping him.

He says he 'loves the poorly educated', which is an insult---- but they don't care...

He says he could 'shoot someone on 5th Ave., and not lose votes'.... Another insult of his supporters, but they don't care.

And now this: “Some of you guys are out there,” he told them. “I mean it’s genius, but it’s bad.”.... Another insult directed RIGHT at his base. He's telling the Con media you're bad and 'out there', but that's genius because it makes you popular, because even though you're bad and out there my moron base loves you guys..

Well. he must be right, his base is a bunch of morons if they don't mind being called stupid by the guy they worship.

Ocean, first let me apologize to you and try to explain what happened. I didn't figure this out until 1:00 in the morning and by then I was too tired to comment back.

Once again. I'm extending my honest apology to you right now. I was very mistaken last night. I was completely under the belief that what you meant was that CNN was wrong calling it a 'social media summit' because it was inside single quotation marks. I swear that's what I thought and that's why I kept proving to you over and over with links and his tweet with 'social media summit'. That's what I thought you meant.

Not for a second did I think anything other than that, that's why I was so adamant! I couldn't for the life of me understand why you didn't read it everywhere because It's out there on every link... 'social media summit'. I know that sounds like I'm making up bull****, but I'm not. I literally thought you were doubting what the actual affair was called. So for that, I'm very sorry.

Now, about the other portion of the comment, the part that offended you, the way CNN described the invited ones as "right wing extremists". Seriously that's something I never questioned when I read the article and it's probably why I made the wrong assumption with your question.

CNN referred to them as that because for the most part they arethat. Not only were the majority of those "right wing extremists" as CNN described them, but the giants of legitimate 'mainstream' social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Google, among others were intentionally excluded to the Rose Garden event. Trump wanted to foster his relationships with these bloggers, white nationalists, conspiracy theorists, racists and other 'right wing extremists'

Last time Ocean, I'm sorry for the colossal confusion on my part and my fault, so enjoy this because you probably won't ever get an apology from me again. Because I'll be more careful next time and try not to misinterpret your question.

Just a last thought. Infowars was not invited because Alex Jones has been banned from mainstream social media. Trump only wanted those right wing extremists who can still make an impact on social media spreading conspiracy theories, racism and division. Alex Jones is pretty useless to the cause now.

Ok. I guess.

"Right wing Extremist" is a subjective reference that has no place being used by a legitimate News outlet. That's why CNN, and many other MSM partners of the NDP shouldn't be considered legitimate News sources.

Facebook, Twitter, and Google, are certainly giants of social media, but when they engage in censorship and partisan behavior, they are not legitimate in terms of simply being providers of a service.

I believe the President, any President, has the right to hold meetings with any group of people they chose, and can call that meeting anything they want.

However, the liberal media, and those who take direction from them, believe they get to define who and what takes place during any meeting a President has.

That is the definition of crazy.

The insanity of the media, and their target audience, never ceases to amaze me.

Based on what? Why would those liberal media companies need to be invited? Is there some special standard of who must be invited to a Social Media Summit?

Why would the top three in social media need to be invited to a social media summit? I mean, seriously, do you even hear yourself as you type?

That 'classy' Sebastian Gorka felt very emboldened, surrounded by other trolls of course, so he verbally attacked the writer for Playboy Magazine, Brian Karem. Of course Gorka had a bone to pick with Brian because he had pushed back on Huckleberry Sarah Sanders when she stood in front of the press and basically called them all 'liars', but she said it with other words. When I saw this video and another from today in the Rose Garden I actually thought -- holy ****, that's the Rose Garden of the White House where dignified men hosted other dignified men from around the world -- in a dignified manner. Today looked like the party scene from 'Weekend At Bernies''. This country has zero dignity left.

If there's anyone that doesn't know who Sebastian Gorka is, he's an alt-right, neo-con that used to work for Breitbart, he was brought into the White House on the coattails of Steve Bannon. Sebastian Gorka is a pretty regular commentator on Fox. No surprise there. Gorga has ties to ultra-right groups in Hungary including a group which are actually descendants from Nazis. He was denied a security clearance, Trump asked him to be one of his national security advisors, but the CIA denied him a security clearance. He called an attack on a mosque a 'false flag'. He has what's equivalent to a mail-in degree from a 3rd rate University in Budapest. Its like getting a doctorate degree from Trump University.

Yeah, but he is a snazzy dresser. I mean pocket watch chain and all.

They actually don't have one yet. Waiting on instructions I would guess.

Laughingly, one CNN report was titled: "Trump invites right-wing extremists to White House 'social media summit'"

Did you figure out who was there yet?

Why would the top three in social media need to be invited to a social media summit? I mean, seriously, do you even hear yourself as you type?

Of course I do. Does a President of the United States have a right to decide the agenda of a meeting, and who should be invited to it?

Yeah, but he is a snazzy dresser. I mean pocket watch chain and all.

He really is a great dresser. You don't usually find a lot of men that choose to wear a suit with a vest in the summer in D.C. when it's 90 degrees.

Vitezi Rend, also known as the Order of Vitez, is a group with alleged historical ties to Nazi Germany. In 2017, Vitezi Rend spokesman Andras Horvath said it was "proud" when Donald Trump's deputy assistant wore its medal. Sebastian Gorka also attended Trump's Jan. 20 Inaugural Ball proudly wearing the medal of this neo-Nazi hate group. If anyone disagrees that Sebastian Gorka is a far-right extremist then they are just ignoring facts. In my opinion, wearing a medal awarded to a man by an extremist group in the White House is just not a good look for democracy.

I really don't see the big deal. Media is dominated by the Left. They run almost all the major news outlets, they run social media, and they run entertainment media. It's the fault of Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and others like them whose shows, whether on radio, TV, or online, that they get higher ratings than everyone else. Maybe if these Leftists hosts actually start telling the truth and stop making EVERYTHING political, everything from killing babies in or out of a womb to which bathroom to use.

Half the people at the summit weren't even right-wing, much less far-right. Like really, is Tim Pool really far-right now? Is that how "left-wing" liberals are?

Yes. Yes it is. To the rest of us, Tim Pool is to the political left.

Media Has Gone INSANE Trying To Smear Me Over Social Media Summit At The White House:

Far-Right; AKA freedom loving Individualists, Opposing the Totalitarian Left.

No, more like sleazy right wing provocateurs, con artists and discredited losers.
