Trump whoring America

President Trump’s golf resort in Doral, Fla., is scheduled to host a golf tournament Saturday put on by a Miami-area strip club, which will allow golfers to pay for a dancer to serve as their “caddy girl” while they play at the president’s club.

The “Shadow All Star Tournament” is organized by the Shadow Cabaret, a strip club in Hialeah, Fla. Emanuele Mancuso, Shadow Cabaret’s marketing director, said in a telephone interview that this was the first time the club had held a tournament at Trump Doral.

The Trump name and family crest are displayed prominently in the strip club’s advertising materials, which offer golfers the “caddy girl of your choice.”

Mancuso said there would be no nudity at the resort. On the course, he said, the caddies would wear pink miniskirts and what he called “a sexy white polo.” Afterward, however, the golfers and the dancers would return to another venue — the cabaret itself — for what he described as a “very tasteful” burlesque show, which could involve nudity.

"Could"?

It was said to be for a charitable cause, but....

The charity’s website says it is “a non-profit organization under the laws of the State of Florida.” However, Franco Ripple, a spokesman for the state, said Tuesday that it is not registered as a charity in Florida. Alamilla did not immediately respond to questions about why his organization’s name was missing from state records.

But, charity decided to pull out ( kids and sex not good, they say---- duh! )

and event canceled (due to PR flap, ya think? )

Okay, it's canceled, so why is this news? How about the fact that, but for bad publicity, a US President thought this would be a good idea.

That's newsworthy, in my book.

FFS, they will host the event somewhere. Welcome to today’s manufactured outrage.

I remember when Republicans were outraged when Obama wore a tan suit. Trump hosting nude dancer auctions, no problem.

I’m not a Republican.

Yes, I agree that it is manufactured outrage. But it IS noteworthy as it is connected to the President in a very direct manner. And when we looked at how much manufactured outrage was laid down at the feet of the previous President...I feel like saying it's this President's turn in the box. The difference being for Obama, a lot of the outrage was truly made up, yet for Trump...it's true and a portion of the time, he seems to make it himself.

At least with this round of stupidity, there won't be some simpleton on the left who will take it on himself to make sure the strippers aren't part of a child sex ring and show up with a firearm because a couple of pundits couldn't let facts get in the way of ratings. Like that idiot did when that stupid theory that Hillary and/or cohorts were running a child pornography ring out of a pizza joint.....

Who's outraged. I think it's funny as all get out! How 'bout we get comments from Frank Graham and Jerry Jr.? Too bad their dads can't see them now, supporting the Great Orange ***** Grabber, who thought a stripper fundraiser was a good presidential event.:lamo You can't make this **** up, boys and girls. Trump is comedy gold!

Family values, folks, family values! /s

I'm willing to give Trump something of a pass on this one. He is not personally running the club, and I highly doubt Don Jr. or Eric ran this booking past their Dad. That said, I doubt Dad had a problem with it, and might have even shown up for this one, if not for the recent Epstein arrest. It sounds like his kind of event.

Republicans thought Michelle was the slut of the Western world because she wore a sleeveless dress to a White House function.

What can I say? They're Republicans, not saints or rocket scientists. You're talking about people whose grip on reality is tenuous at best.

What exactly was the president's involvement in this?

Gosh...I bet that is JUST what happened. The US President probably IS the event coordinator at his golf club. :lamo

And what happened to our leftists all of sudden? ****ting yourselves over strippers and nudity? Your pretense of poutrage is centered solely on your hatred and that makes you not only tiny, but hypocrites to boot.

I know. You're an independent -- who just happens to take the Republican side most of the time.

Perhaps Obama would loan you that tan suit and you could visit a strip club. Keeping a ledger of other posters for their opinions might be a better stress reliever.

You think the President had a say in approving this? Really?

You may want to check my post history and try that one again.

A few things come to mind.

Could you post a link that proves the President is involved in the daily operations of every property he is involved with globally.

Could you post a link to the laws that would be violated if this event had taken place.

Could you explain why people associated with this business shouldn't be allowed to earn a living.

If your defense of unbecoming and unpresidential behavior is 'well, it's not illegal, so it's ok,' you lost the argument. Having extra-marital affairs aren't illegal either. Yet, other politicians, like governors, have resigned when they were found out. Also, Presidents, up until now, have been held to a higher standard because unseemly behavior, like hosting a strippers being auctioned off nude reflects badly on the presidency and the country.

Moreover, nobody expects Trump to be personally involved in every business decision. Yet, this has been made public and he could stop it, if he wanted to. Any normal president in the same situation would be embarrassed. Trump doesn't get embarrassed if it puts money in his pocket -- and he knows his cult will give him a pass and make excuses no matter what he does.

I asked some questions. Try answering them.

I take him at his word that he is involved in the details of his business empire. It is amusing reading that when it suits his interest, he's a micro-manager but when distancing himself from a decision is self-serving, he's not involved at all.

But let's think of this for a moment: anyone working for him would know that approving a strip club having an event at Trump's property would be potentially embarrassing. Do you really think nobody bounced it off of him beforehand? Wouldn't you?

Damn. Too bad it is not local. I might pickup my golf bag for one last hurrah.

Tommy Mulrane from his golf vaudeville act (and I am paraphrasing his responses to a straight man explaining golf):

"Whadja mean, get the balls in the hole, I thought you had to get the pole in the hole?"

"Sling the bag over your shoulder and walk!? That's gotta hurt. Pass me the gin, just the thought." His body language, hilarious.

Tommy was a retired jockey, worked the vaudeville circuit in the northeast for decades, while perpetually drunk, in between the stripper acts. Mentored Lou Costello, a young Jerry Lewis, Redd Fox and countless other comedians. Died in a drunken stupor at 93 in his own bed at his home in Bayside Queens during 1972. His mansion, a former home of Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford, where many silent movie stars made their home, was decorated with thousands of framed autographed photos of him with celebrities past. His daughter sold the house and property for development, the autograph collection at auction. Half the proceeds per her father's will went to The Lillian Booth Actors Home of The Actors Fund, an American assisted-living facility, in Englewood, New Jersey. It is operated by the Actors Fund, and it was where Tommy would occasionally go to dry out.

During the early 1920's though the mid 1930's, the Postale Golf Course in central Queens, was notorious for its all girl caddies, dressed in shorts and knit tops, bare legged (scandalous at the time) and halter tops with no bras. Tee time had to be reserved months in advance by club members. Many of the girls were known for their side liaisons. Golf and sex is nothing new. Mayor Jimmie Walker had been a charter member.

I wonder if they play the tournament with blue balls?
