California Rep. Eric Swalwell will be the first serious presidential candidate to drop from the Democratic primary on Monday, a source familiar confirmed to TIME.
Swalwell’s campaign declined to comment, but did not deny the report. He is slated to give a press conference Monday afternoon, but the subject of the press conference had not been announced.

LOL, I know. There is such a huge crowd of dem candidates, I don't really know who's who up there. I am not sure most people are going to notice Swalwell gone.

But I think a lot of people are so fed up they will vote for a ham sandwich over Trump.

No surprise. He's young. He actually did well in the debate. He laid his stake in they ground, and that's a good thing for him.

I hope more drop out so I can find my candidate in that pack.

After Joe Biggs tweeted that Mr. Swalwell “wants a war” over the Second Amendment, Mr. Swalwell responded, “And it would be a short war my friend.”

He said if he ran for president he would give up his seat in congress. Guess what he decided not too.

Good move since he was going nowhere and Mayor Pete grabbed his niche market. He is a good member of the House and will run again for his seat next year.
