This country is increasingly liberal. The majority voted against Trump and socially, what issues are conservatives winning on? Face it, it's right wing media and view points that are being pushed to the fringe. why is this about Trump and not the code of conduct of wearing the U.S. Uniform? Why is it you have such a problem posting actual results to support your claims? Want me to post the picture of Rapinoe at the World Cup disrespecting her country all claiming it is about Trump? the anthem isn't about Trump, the visit to the WH isn't about Trump, but her actions are those of a primadonna that doesn't get it just like many others here

No, California voted against Trump by 4 million votes and gave Hillary the 3 million vote win, the country voted For trump and the Senate Remains Republican and that shows the strength of the Republican party as those results are statewide not individual districts. You keep living in that liberal utopian dream world and let the rest of the country pass you by, this thread is more about the code of Conduct by someone wearing the Uniform of the U.S. you keep digging in deeper and deeper against a Country that gives you the freedom to make an ass out of yourself just like Rapinoe did

Thanks for you service in vietnam. We the people are the country. This isn't north korea, we can criticize our president and not get shot or imprisoned. My vote is the result of voicing my opinion as to what I don't and do like. I don't like trump the person or the president. I think he is a disgrace to american ideals. However I'm not voting against trump, I'm voting for the democrat who I think will do the most good for the most people. Unlike republicans who support the wealthy and corporate america and yet somehow convince their base they are out for the average american worker, I don't by that bs from the GOP and I don't understand why most of the base of republicans do??? I don't know how many times I've written this on here but I'll repeat it. Explain to me why most of the poorest states are republican controlled and in the south? Explain to me how a man that brags about grabbing women in certain places, cheats on his wives, cheats people who do work for him and constantly lies is the kind of person who should be sitting in the white house?

You have the right to protest and say what you want but NOT when you are wearing the Uniform of your country.

As for most of the poor states being Republican, you are using arbitrary data to support that claim totally ignoring the cost of living in those states and personal choice of people living in those states. Do you honestly believe that people migrate to the Red states to live in poverty, pollution, low wages? Stop buying what you are told and ask yourself why people living in those states don't move if he opportunities are greater somewhere else? Also why is it such a tough issue for you and others to grasp that Democrats live in those states as well and choose to live there as do immigrants that migrated here in TX for example. It costs a lot less to live in TX than California.

You asked a question now answer mine, why is it the bastion of liberalism, the bluest state of them all, California leading the nation in poverty, homelessness, has the worst quality of life, and largest wage gap in the nation? You see posting arbitrary numbers don't acknowledge the real problems here but that is for another thread this one is about Rapinoe and her disdain for the country all because of the President?? Does that make sense to you

I'm talking about the people right now who paint a woman who gets to play the sport she loves for a living as "oppressed" for not being able to speak her mind when clearly she can speak her mind since she is a media darling for it. Many of those people calling her brave for speaking out will be the ones wanting to silence women who have a different view than Megan Rapinoe.

If a team member or members choose to attend the White House event they won't be treated the same.

Last I checked California was still part of America. Only weak, insecure conservatives have to subtract an entire state in order to feel confident about the size of their influence. But deep down all you conservatives know I'm right. Your electoral wins are mere vestiges of a bygone era that is looking increasingly more ignorant and backwards as time goes on. Just think about the policies liberals like Bill Clinton had. Supported the war on drugs, did not support gay marriage, would of found Medicare for all a joke. No way he'd get the nomination today. Even Obama. He made the Bush tax cuts permanent, bailed out Wall St., deported more illegals than Bush, kept some in cages, and increased drone strikes in the middle east. Doubt he'd get the Democratic nomination today either. There was more and has been more partisanship since Obama but Clinton held standard liberal views in 1999 that would be considered far right today. We've pushed the entire social consciousness left(with entertainment, news, social media and education) even as fox has pushed conservatives further to the right. But we've already won the next generation. It's why Nike and the rest of the corporations are falling in line. They know who the future belongs to. They know their future profits rely on the 20 and 30 year olds of today and not with the 60 and 70 year old of yester year. But hey, good luck with your party of old white men for however long that lasts. :lamo

I remember when the people here who think that Rapinoe is a hero -- for holding the view of 90% of the media establishment (So brave!) -- were in favor of harassing people for their political ideology if they were Trump supporters. Now suggesting that a national team playing for the whole country should avoid partisan politics is an outrage. :roll:
