Well, you're that 30% so it makes sense that you'd inflate a monstrous Alinskyite lie as apologetics.

Do you believe that Trump was above board in committing his eleventh hour 180 degree about face in the wake of Sean Hannity's taunting on the wall funding back in January 2019?
Don't forget, House and Senate BOTH had sufficient numbers to get bills passed to keep government open until Trump caved to Hannity, Limbaugh and Ingraham.

Based on those two factors, the only other possibility would be Chuck and Nancy just bending over and dropping trou and inviting rear entry with no foreplay.
I'm guessing that you might just view that as ordinary bipartisan cooperation.

    After all...

"Bipartisanship ought to consist of Democrats coming around to the Republican point of view."

    ---Richard Mourdock

Clearly Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump and pretty much the entire Trump Republican ship of state have eclipsed even Richard Mourdock at this point in time.

Let's analyze that. Fortunately I don't receive much compensation as the duly elected "Spokesman For My People" but I can speak for myself anyway.

Care to show us all some examples where Checkers "expects Republicans to just bend over and drop trou for rear entry with no foreplay"?

Just show me ONE example...just ONE.

    I'll wait here.

Schumer, with little or no objection, agreed with McConnell and the Republicans to vote for the recent immigration bill that Pelosi caved-in to and approved and sent to Trump on 6/27 which Trump has yet to sign. At Trump’s insistence, saying he would sign whatever the Dems and Reps agreed on, a bill was nonetheless rejected by Trump in early 2018. In the last 4 months, McConnell has blocked over 100 bills from being heard by the Senate that were sent by the House. These bills included the "Paycheck Fairness Act," which makes it easier for women to challenge pay discrimination, the "Background Checks Act," and bipartisan Election Security Bills (McConnell Takes Checks from Voting Machine Lobbyists), which I believe Americans would like to see the Senate discuss and vote on. The bills McConnell is blocking would subject the voting machine vendors to new cybersecurity regulations that could affect sales. In June 2018, Trump sent mixed signals regarding a GOP “compromise” immigration bill that was rejected by the House, including 112 Republican “no” votes. It would have likely died in the GOP controlled Senate.

So, yeah, I believe Schumer and Pelosi have been as above board as could be with a fickle, to put it nicely, president like Trump. Trump hasn’t even been above board with his own party in Congress.

Trump offered to legalize 8 million illegals, and that wasn't good enough for Democant's who don't really want anything to pass that Trump could claim as a legislative victory...

"The Senate on Wednesday overwhelmingly approved a bipartisan $4.5 billion bill to combat the escalating humanitarian crisis on the southern border, moments after rejecting a House version over its restrictions on enforcement efforts -- setting up a race to reconcile the two measures before Congress leaves town."

    snip

"The House legislation included what proponents called “guardrails” to stop funding being used for immigration enforcement."

That's what you call "honest brokering"... I call it BS....

Maybe that's why Trump's approval is:

"President Trump’s approval rating has hit the highest point in his presidency, according to a new poll by the Washington Post and ABC News.

The poll, which was released on Sunday, found that 47 percent of registered voters approve of Trump’s work inside the White House – a five point jump since April."

Trump'''s approval rating hits highest point of presidency, but still struggles in match-up against Dems | Fox News

    And Democant's approval is:

"A new Gallup poll shows that just 20% of Americans approve of the job Congress is doing. The vast majority, 75%, disapprove of the job Congress is doing."

    Congress's approval rating hasn't hit 30% in 10 years. That's a record - CNNPolitics

Trump offered to legalize 8 million “illegals”? You must be on something.

What you call “poison pills” and your citation calls “restrictions on enforcement efforts” are to alleviate exactly what contributes to the humanitarian crisis. But what are you complaining about? Like I said in my post, Schumer and Pelosi agreed to what Trump wanted. That’s how compromise works. Or doesn’t work, depending on your view. Trump and the Republicans, or Trumpicans, got what they wanted, and you still complain. A clear winner, and you still bitch about the those who agreed to the bill. That’s a crock of bull pucky.

Now you gloat that “47 percent of registered voters approve of Trump’s work inside the White House – a five point jump since April." Big deal. Trump remains below 50%. No president has never broke 50% for as long as Trump has failed to do so. He started out below 50% his first day in office and has never broke that level. Every day he’s in office he sets a new record for the longest time at never reaching 50%. I think you already are familiar with these facts.

Oh, yeah, Congress. So, Americans don’t approve of the job the Republican majority Senate and Democratic majority House is doing. What’s your point? Reporting on this by the media, and apparently you, has been rather ignorant because the vast majority of voters approve of their own House Representative, with 90% reelected, and Senator, with 80% reelected.
