The most efficient way to remove illegal immigrants would be to mandate the use of eVerify - resulting in mass self-deporation. Unfortunately, that is not likely to happen since it requires congressional action. Congress critters of both partries seem intent on keeping immigration (legal or not) as an "issue" since that reults in a re-election rate of over 90%.
 
Trump is only trying to keep using "Illegals as the Scapegoat" to feed his base.... again... Illegals is not America's biggest problem... they are simply a scapegoat to take attention from the "greed mongers" that manipulate the masses.. into looking for someone to blame.

Many of the Right Winger who fall for this, have never even seen an "illegal immigrant"... and many of the same one likely if they have seen an "illegal immigrant" that illegal immigrant might be white from one of the Foreign Countries that has a predominantly white population, and in that case, they'd stand up and fight to try and keep that "white illegal" here because they come from a predominantly white ethnic nation.

People should go back and look at the history of White Society and their attitude when LBJ passed the 1965 Immigration Act.

People should take time and learn how they have been manipulatively groomed... because many simply don't know, they just follow along never knowing what is within the forces that push them, as they simply become clone scripted and programmed....
While they publicly want to claim they are not racist, but they never stop and think how their ideals and ideology was shaped by racism and driven by the elements that constitute racism.

It's because 'people don't care for thinking"... and certainly not to think and learn... because they will not be of will to want to face the truths that are uncovered... for some the truth would 'upend" their whole life ideology" so... they don't want the "real truth"!!! It's far too frightening for their weak minds to handle. They resist the truth, that can set them free from bias, bigotry, internalized racist animus, it is easier for them to live within the lie to self... with a claim that they are not race bias.

Yet, when one listen to or read their commentary... "race bias" is engaged at the level of a Scream!!!

Oh good, more policy via Twitter. Without the details behind Trump's plan all we have is speculation, but we also have at least some evidence that Trump will push ICE for more deportations as a blanket statement.

The numbers vary greatly depending on source but for 2018 it looks like deportations ended up around 95K, apprehensions around 225K. The irony is for the same year Mexico deported just over 100K, after their apprehensions were around 110K. They caught less but deported more in raw numbers and percentage of who they caught. Also Trump is now praising Mexico, a far departure from the rhetoric of a few weeks back.

According to ABC News, they have "administration officials" saying this was about the more than 1 million who have already seen final deportation orders issued by federal judges but remain somewhere in the US. That would put the onus on ICE / law enforcement investigations and raids, to unknown conclusions.

Politically Trump has every reason to see this through, it rallies his base and perhaps speaks to Independents who do not agree with Democrats general cavalier attitude regarding Immigration.

We'll see.

There really needs to be a more compelling reason to spend valuable resources and upend families and communities around the country for the sake of dealing with 'nonsense.' We have much greater problems to deal with.
 
I'm not for people "over-running the borders".... but any who have been here 3-5 yrs or more and established themselves... should not be summarily removed, but put in a tract toward citizenship.

(Those who have engaged in Criminal Enterprising and Gangs, should be removed without question or challenge).

Then; "FIX" the Immigration System... where starting in 2020... anyone who arrives illegal, not in and through the legal immigration system or Asylum process... are to be "returned" back to their home country.

Civic Decency of Immigration process is and should be the basis in how we re-establish and handle this situation, and our Congress should be able to get that work done to Fix the Immigration System by 2020 !!!!

This current wild man administrative process is not good for America, nor for the Dignity of America's Integrity.

America will move toward its respect for Decency and Integrity... when we have an established Democratic Congress and a Democratic Presidential Leader.... Until them... the madness and wild man mentality and its antics, will continue the game of "disrupt, distract, chase a scapegoat, promote plutocratic process, and pursue autocratic madness, while it feeds and breeds race bias, race bigotry and instigation of race animus.

Only when a Democratic Leadership is in place... will we move back to being an America that people are not daily driven into contentions by "drama driven divisive agenda".... It has embedded us in cycles of debt, and eroded the system of Industrial viability and damaged our young people with the deprivation of quality education and saddled them with excruciating debt....and stagnated the wage progression that can meet with the American Standard of Living. All of these things are a pure and structured remake of the exact ideals and ideology of what was the Confederacy... which was driven by Plutocratic agenda and Autocratic policy.

The younger generation who are information seeker, know this to be fact... and they are not going to allow nor support any frame or faction of a remake of Confederacy Ideals within America.

We can be thankful that the Younger Generations are not afraid of Learning, and they are not Afraid of Growing and they are not Afraid of upended the malice and biased groomed system that has damaged the nation and its people for generations. They rebuke the ideology of the Era of Bigots and Race Bias Groomed People... The young will revisit the ideals of LBJ's "Great Society" and they will re-establish the ideals and Integrity of Humane Regard of which that "Great Society Ideal" was designed and built upon.

I agree with the E-verify. However my most pressing concern [in the event this is successful] would be who will replace all these workers in one of the fastest growing regions in the country. [central TX]

OTOH it might seriously affect people's decisions on moving here in the first place. :2wave: Traffic might dwindle!

They even mentioned when Trump criticized someone else for doing it:

But this is different. Anyways we'll see if anything really happens.
 
PEOPLE... Don't Loose Hope... the "New Younger Generation" will bring and create a greater American Respect for Humanity, and they will improve the Nations respect for the Dignity of Society and they will bring Credibility to the Beauty of America's Multicultural and Multi-Ethnic Diversity of Population as American Citizens. They are blazing a new path for the Nation, one that has been fought against over centuries and decades... and the young today.. want no part of sustaining such madness of the past.

Therefore... the hope of America is in the hands of the New Younger Generation.... one can deny that if they choose, and they will find themselves only spinning in anguish and filled with contempt because they can't keep a old worn out and past its time system alive.

America is at the transition point. Many of the Baby Boomer who clung to the old are dying out, and the Baby Boomers who supported and promoted a more integrated society... have groomed and inspired their off springs to promote Humanity and Stand against race bias, race bigotry and racist madness. There were far more who came through the Baby Boom Era that recognized the need for respect of Multicultural Society, and appreciation of Multi-Ethnic make up of the populations.

Therefore ... have pride in the hopes of the New Younger Generation.. They will lead America back to Respecting its Declaration of Independence, and Supporting the Values of The Preamble, and they will go into the system of the Constitution and make the adjustments and modification to remove the contortion and bastardized malice that has been done to Constitution Interpretations.. as they do so... they will scour the laws and extract the constructs of bias, racism and worship of the wealthy that has damaged and made unequal our systems of justice.

These are the works of the "New Generations of Young People"....
