Sarah Sanders Leaving: One of the Last Original Trump aides is leaving the White House

Does that include the last 3+ months of no press conferences?

Yup. 94 days and no press conference. 94 days. A record. Isn't the Trump administration just so grand and transparent?

Most people view 23 months as a couple of years....

Yes most reasonable people would consider 23 months as a couple of years. But before being named press secretary, Sanders had worked for the campaign as an aide in communications for a year and a half. That too can be an exhausting schedule especially with a husband and three kids.

Is that important?

Yes, because it goes to your point that most are only in the job a couple of years. Obama, Clinton, Bush - most of their Press Secretaries were only around for 2 years. It's typical apparently.

Lol ok i missunderstood your intent. My appologies.

Personally I would think 6 months on the job is too much, but 2 years is probably just long enough for most. That's why her departure IMO is no surprise at all.

She was a particularly good fit for the Trump team since, like Trump, she was a dim bulb sociopath who owed her career to having a powerful father.

Say what you will, but I don't think she's a "dim bulb" at all. Clearly she took the position because to some degree this administration was one she felt comfortable representing, and that she stayed as long as she did despite the contentious relationship between the WH and the press tells me she was happy to do it. Like it or not, she held her own against the press which is why I don't think your description is apt.

I expected such celebration among the critical left, evidently they derive satisfaction finally she quit. Hopefully whoever follows is preferable to them (I doubt it).

I would prefer that the next press secretary doesn't bold face lie to the american public. If you have to clean up your story under oath, like Sarah did, you are not an honest broker.

No, not really. All reasonable people consider her a whore, and good riddance to whores.

She comes across as extraordinarily stupid -- regularly saying things that are not only dishonest, but that are likely to cause problems for the administration. In no sense did she "hold her own" against the press. She just had the lack of shame needed to be willing to essentially soil herself on national TV time and again. She got up there and looked like a sullen, lying dolt, with incredible consistency. The smart liars in that position have so much finesse that half the time the reporters don't even seem to realize they didn't get a straight answer to their questions. It's all about artful misdirection and clever deployment of talking points. There was nothing artful or clever about Sanders.

Plus, when a child of our political aristocracy goes to low-ranked school like Ouachita, it's a real sign of mental incapacity. Even with the benefits of nepotism, she had to shoot very low. Fortunately for her, the bottom of the barrel is exactly where the Trump team recruits.

Looks like one by one his whole cabinet is falling down! I think at a crucial point of turning back on friends and friends turning back on him it will all implode! If everyone sees that he cant even keep a cabinet of his friends I think that conveys a huge blow to morale.

****ing Borowitz is the most clever man around. Loved that!!

“This is nothing more or less than a direct attack on the lying life style,” she said. “You take away my right to lie and you take away my ability to earn a living.”

Kellyanne Conway, the White House senior counsellor, spoke out in support of Sanders, telling reporters, “An attack on one liar is an attack on all liars.”

“Our country has seen some dark days, from the Bowling Green Massacre to the bugging of the White House microwave,” she said. “But this might be the darkest.”

Dishonesty doesn't mean she's stupid. As for saying things that cause problems for the administration, well that is often a juggling act because there often appears to be lapses in communication internally. Trump might make an off the cuff comment, and the administration has to spin it/clarify it.

To that, I'd move on and take a question that actually matters.
You're as terrible at identifying and telling the truth as she is. Big surprise. Being nicer than Sarah doesn't make it any better.

When you have half a neuron firing in your brain, Sarah Sanders leaving the role of press secretary in June makes sense. It might take a mom to figure this one out but her three little ones just finished the school year. Because this is the year where the president will be launching his re-election, the press secretary has to travel a lot more than regularly to campaign rallies along with her regular duties. Sanders decided no more. Her kids will be enrolled in schools in Arkansas for the Fall and her family will get a well deserved opportunity to normalcies.
Bull crap. That lying piece of crap did everything of her own volition. Nobody forced her to lie to put Trump ahead of her children and prove to the world that she doesn't have even a modicum of integrity.

Funny how she decides to step down right after she's found to be lying about Robert Mueller. Better stay from the job market, people don't want to be associated with her. Who is she going to be a spokesperson for? Lol, what company will she be given?
Freedom caucus?
