The video showed 1 cop acting like an asshole. I want to know why the police officer that was calmly talking to the mother while the father was being assaulted didn't tell his fellow officer to chill out....he actually backed up in the video, was he scared of his fellow officer to?
I want to hear the call for the incident....if it was anything other than shoplifting the store should be sued. The reaction to the incident seems over the top but if the call was for an armed robbery then maybe it's understandable. However these people making these calls need to be prosecuted maybe that will stop them from making over the top calls.
I'm pleased to know this young dad read or heard the memo about being black in America he stayed calm, didn't curse, didn't resist he just took the assault from a police officer while calmly asking what the problem was.
The young man with no police training tried to de-escalate the situation.
Some people shouldn't be police officers they give all others a bad name, this yelling, cursing, spittle flying cop seems like one of them.
And those kids now when adults have a serious distrust of police who can blame them?
Yeah my daughter at 3 or 4 stole doll clothes I didn't notice until I got home I drove back to the store and made her give it back to the manager, times sure have changed.
