Elderly Trump supporter pushed to ground during London anti-Trump protest | Fox News

Video taken during an anti-Trump protest in central London on Tuesday captured a group of men assaulting and knocking an elderly fan of President Trump to the ground.
The video showed a mob surrounding the man, then pushing him to the ground as they chanted “Donald Trump’s not welcome here,” during the rally in Parliament Square where Britain's left-wing Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn gave a speech widely seen as anti-Trump.
The video surfaced after someone at the same protest threw a milkshake at another Trump supporter while he was surrounded by several anti-Trump protesters chanting "Nazi scum," as The Telegraph reported.

The older man, wearing a red and white hat, could be heard in the video saying “get off” as the other men grabbed his jacket and pushed him.

People around the supporter immediately helped him get back up and made sure he was not injured.

Shoving an old man down because he likes Trump is a hate crime in my book. I know its not technically one but assaulting a senior citizen because of his political persuasion is shameful and cowardly. 5 male teens attack two gay women is also cowardly and shameful. We don't know the motives of the 5 teens yet they my have been from the right or they may be homophobic Muslim youths we just don't know. We do know the motives of the anti Trump protestors. Both groups DISGUST me.

Elder abuse is a crime. And this happened in England are you sure they have hate crimes and are you sure that assaulting a senior citizen in England isn't a hate crime?

In 2018 they were considering classifying crimes against the elderly as potential hate crime classification.

The Law Commission, the independent body that recommends legal reforms, will look at whether there are any gaps in hate crime legislation as part of a package of measures announced by the Home Office on Tuesday.

Both misogyny (prejudice against women) and misandry (prejudice against men) will be considered by the review, as will attitudes towards alternative lifestyles such as goth subculture, and age.

Elder ABUSE is a crime. Just like assaulting a child is its own crime with enhanced penalties.
 
The problem with the video is that it begins in the middle of the incident.

We have no idea what preceded the surge which - fairly gently - pushed this gent to the ground.

Pretty minor by the looks of it.

It appears the elderly man got caught up in a scuffle and fell to the ground. According to the report several Anti Trump supporters helped the gentleman up, seems rather decent of them. The elderly gentlemans incident is being used to promote a narrative, and it fails, as does this thread, next !!

Oh my, the snowflake Trump supporters on Fox are now complaining about crowds doing violence to those that disagree. Let’s remember that it was the Orange Julius that encouraged his rally crowds to rough up hecklers. He even said he’d pay their legal bills (which he reneged.)

This is getting absurd. Elderly Trump supporters being attacked, lesbians on a bus being attacked, etc.

I do not see this getting any better anytime soon, there seems to be too much interest in justification for these crimes.
