The "alt-right" isn't the "primary ideological driver" of bigotry, and the OP concerns are, at best, amorphous and without connection to this incident.

In fact, the incident may have arisen from an entirely different area, and perhaps an opposite of that claimed.

Yes, of course, anyone who believes that a gang of teenagers assaulting two young women minding their own business on a bus are a product of the no discipline times must be a bigot, a loser, a scumbag, a child abuser, and stuff like that. Couldn't possibly be the responsibility of those very teenagers and the people who failed in raising them to be law abiding, respectful, contributing members of society. Poor dears, must be victims of the rest of us - got it. Perhaps instead of locking them up we could give them their own reality TV show.

Spain had protectorates in Morocco until 1956. Spanish is common in both Morocco and Algeria.

British society under the Conservatives is meaner and nastier than it's been for some time. All we know is there were five young male attackers, between 15 and 18 years old. Nothing else, race, creed, colour, hooves or not.

And then there were those hundreds of years when Spain was a Muslim country. You remember, sure, when Gibraltar was Jabal al Tariq, Tariq's mountain, and the best and brightest in Europe during the Dark Ages were the Muslims keeping the light shining in the darkness? When the Alhambra was built on Roman ruins by Muslim architects?
Remind me of when Morocco was a Spanish province. Which years, I mean. Was it after Ferdinand and Isabela and Columbus? Must have been.

I prefer to link articles to CNN because they and MSNBC are my primary news sources, followed by the BBC and Al Jazeera. Accepting the fact that Trumpers bristle even at the letters 'CNN' I felt that in all fairness I'd link the article published by the BBC to make all you happy little Trumpers happier. But no, it was not to be since you Trumpers have the craving need to pinpoint something to object to, to be critical, to denounce and to call 'fake news'. I thought it would be fun watching all you Trumpers pounce on the BBC, just for laughs. And yep, you did, and it has been fun.

Actually the FOX News story contains the same information as in the CNN and BBC ones.

The "news" side of FOX News isn't actually all that bad. Unfortunately, due to space constraints, FOX often has to run "opinion" pieces on its "news" pages and FOX sometimes (let's say about 99.9% of the time) "forgets" to indicate that something on its "news" pages should actually have been on its "opinion" pages.
