Considering the leniency shown in sentencing, he should feel lucky hes not spending the rest of his life in prison for his crimes.

Hilarious... The right puts brown children in cages, but putting a rich older white guy convicted of fraud...and frankly a traitor...in the same prison as most people is suddenly a scandal....

    From your source:

Therefore, blue-collar crime will more often use physical force, whereas in the corporate world,[b] the identification of a victim is less obvious and the issue of reporting is complicated by a culture of commercial confidentiality to protect*shareholder*value. It is estimated that a great deal of white-collar crime is undetected or, if detected, it is not reported.

Why? He's currently a prisoner under sentence for his guilt in a dozen felonies. They can't release a con serving his sentence.

FYI unless the poster is referring to something else, protective custody refers to custody not held within a penal institution.

If so, releasing him to protective custody makes no sense to me. Manafort is a convict serving a long sentence for a dozen felonies. Why would anyone let him out?

Maybe it should be shut down anyway since it's so poorly managed. But Manafort is not too good for it.

Cool, now we know where to send Obama and his minions for spying on their political opponents.
