Theresa May to resign as UK Prime Minister

A clown car refugee. Incredibly, he has a very good chance of succeeding May.

Clown. Meet Clown.

Seriously though, at least the UK hasn't made the incredibly stupid decision to have their clown lead the country.

She's too late leaving by a good margin.

How utterly disgraceful - and thoroughly predictable - that after the people have spoken on Brexit, it still hasn't happened.

Shameful.

"The People" were comprehensively lied to and subverted to a narrow advisory vote. The more reality intrudes, the greater the buyers remorse. Remaining in is now polling at over 60%. Who's speaking for those people?

LOL, you're hoping some other country claims the takes over from the USA as laughing stock of the world, aren't you. Not likely, you can't fix that kind of stupid without a generational change. I think the Latinos will bring that positive change. How about you?

But the English people were lied to by the conservatives, and unlike American Conservatives, they were able to figure it out. Most don't want brexit.

dirty Canadians making a play for laughing stock of the world with refusal to remove garbage sent to Philippines.:lamo

Yeah, who'd want to let your own country decide it's future, better to let unelected bureaucrats in Brussels dictate your future!

Exactly! And did you know there are unelected bureaucrats deciding the future of the American military! OMG!!!!

Non-point by a forgettable poster.... why do you post such nonsense?

Yeah, who'd want to let your own country decide it's future, better to let unelected bureaucrats in Brussels dictate your future!

Our country decided it's future lay in working with it's neighbours and customers, not competing with them. Then the neighbours proposed clamping down on tax evaders, and the Tory Party imploded!, leading to a fraudulent Brexit vote. Bannon and Putin are laughing their socks off.

Our new Prime Minister will be appointed by the doddering members of the Tory Party, not the country. How's that for un-elected?

We just had an election yesterday to elect "unelected" European Parliament MEP's to run Europe.

Yesterday I voted in European elections to elect politicians to the European parliament.

I'm going to petition the government to change the national anthem to the Benny Hill theme, and have it played on a loop from loudspeakers placed at every street corner!

You country voted to be vassals to Brussels.

You country voted to be vassals to Brussels.

We just finished voting for our representatives to Brussels yesterday. Polls were up. Only three pieces of legislation that Britain disagreed with have been passed by the EU during our membership. So much for vassals.

Love her or hate her, she has been dealing with an impossible situation. Not surprised by her teary farewell at all.

Best wishes to the Honorable Prime Minister.

She tried her best. That's all that anyone can ever do.

The good news: She will still be occupying that office when our President arrives soon for his long-expected State Visit, including dinner with Her Majesty. (Can't wait to watch all the festivities on YouTube. Next week, the President will be the first foreign dignitary to meet the new Japanese emperor. Don't miss it on YouTube.)

Such accusations have been flying from the Brexiters since we missed the original date! They're less overt about the "Deep State" per se, simply accusing her of not actually wanting Brexit, but the suggestion is there in the background.
Given the apparent disparity between members of Parliament and the populace, and resulting opposition to Brexit, it would hardly be astonishing.

Interesting. Out of curiosity, how did the Brexit Party do in that election?

I believe the results won't be out until Sunday, as they are waiting for the European election.

Brexit was polling high. I've heard estimates as high as 50 seats, but farange is very cautious on giving prediction.

You mean Farrago's fake party, which is actually a limited company? Who knows? It probably took votes off his old party, UKIP. Results Sunday.

The higher the poll numbers, the less likely Farage will benefit.

I'm not from England, so I certainly may be misunderstanding the whole process. But if the Brexit party is polling well, and Farage is the leader of the party... How would Farage not benefit?

I've really only been paying attention to the England elections the past few days and that's mostly from watching youtube videos of Farage on the BBC or UKIP's Sargon of Akkad taking his act on the road and talking to people - which I find very interesting. So, I certainly know there is a whole lot I don't know.
