Can't define anything with regard to the demographics or dispositions of Trump "followers".

I CAN observe that the guy is like a tornado and seems to dominate anything and everything he cares to be involved in. When a tornado hits anywhere, the grocery list seems to drop on the list of priorities.

What he manages to do is relay very complex understandings with just about Stone Age simplicity. In truth, most political issues are pretty simple and that is the way he discusses them.

Imagine a debate between Warren and Trump in which she lays out a detailed and nuanced plan to solve whatever imagined problem she is trying to sell. Trump says, "Pocahontas", and the whole debate is over.

By saying "Pocahontas", he is recalling for everyone that this woman is an inveterate liar with ridiculous ideas and unsupportably deceptive, self serving techniques.

Not much different than calling Reggie Jackson "Mr. October". Like Jackson, Warren could revise the understanding of her nickname by demonstrating competence, but it's not likely that she will.

This is the genius of Trump. Our society has an attention span geared to the length of a Tweet. Trump uses this to his advantage.

Many things do not require Churchillian rhetoric to convey meanings. The pregnant pause or the well timed questioning look can often say more than anything written.

It is truly amazing how someone keeping more of what they earn bothers you so much. Bigger welfare check? So my paycheck is a welfare check from the gov't and me keeping more of it is an expense to the gov't? New England education system??

In the same way that no gentleman would be so arrogant as to call himself a gentleman (that is for others to determine), nobody whom you would call a genuine genius would be so crass as to call himself one. It just isn't done; bad form and all that. Then again what does Trump know about decorum, dignity and modesty?
