I’ll give him that, but he kind of has to to save face. There was absolutely no defending that embarrassing display. Would be bad enough a competent head of HUD bought an $8000 dishwasher with tax dollars.

tres, he didn't even know how many people HUD had to deal with. When asked, he said "hundreds of thousands" when in fact it is over 4 million. He literally doesn't know even the most basic facts about his job. He's an incompetent fool, exactly like Trump.

Those aren't gaffes. They're a demonstration of complete ignorance of the basic facts needed to do the job as head of HUD.

Are you surprised? Carson is a guy who stated he believes that the Great Pyramids were constructed by the biblical Joseph for the purpose of storing grain. He also has a painting in his house of himself and Jesus wearing bath robes..

He did not misspeak, he actually didn’t know the answers to basic facts at HUD.

To me, he is similar to Ron Paul. Slow to speak, slow to anger. But hey, some like the snappy back alley come backs.
Ok, I haven't looked into his medicine cabinet. I have the same angst and sleepless nights about Pelosi.
