[W:89]Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

Re: [W:89]Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

I saw him say it. What you are describing is that a couple of days later, when his staff told him how awful that statement was, they got him to walk it back. That doesn't undo the original statement.

Ya I saw it too dude. We both saw it and heard it. So please...

Re: Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

nice try...Dems have no policy so they continually shout stupid stuff at GOP. silly...doesn't work anymore...immunized against it.

Democrats have a policy regarding racial discrimination, we absolutely do. Racism fundamentally conflicts with the central principles of democracy, which, beyond elections, must involve continuous participation in the political process by the people. The true meaning of 'democracy' is a society that seeks to respectfully accommodate differences, whether those differences are ethnic, racial, religious, or political. This extends the full and equal protection to all people as specified in the US Constitution. It demands an active respect for the other – every other.

What you are truly immunized against is the truth.

“Democrats will always fight to end discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, language, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.”

That's the most stunningly ignorant comment I've heard yet. You're projecting. How many white teenagers have you read about lately that were unarmed and shot in the back by a white cop? How many white teens have been shot with their hands up in submission by a white cop?

The Republican party has evolved into the party of the top 1%, the party of racism, xenophobia and homophobia. There's just no denying this, there are mountains of documented incidences, Charlottesville being just one, that was minimized and justified by Republicans including our president.

No, your projecting just doesn't work on me, I'm smarter than that.

Re: Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

Don't you remember the marching orders Trump gave to his base? "don't believe what you see, don't believe what you read, don't believe what you hear, it's all fake news."

No....that's not too dictator-like.

I remember it. To this day, I feel sad that it had to be said.
But when you analyze the coverage by twits like the entire CNN crew and most of the other news outlets, what else could anyone expect?
He knew before the election that he was being spied on. Everyone laughed but...oops...
The media tore him apart and viciously attacked his family...even his wife.
So ya...I for one had already decided that the MSM was not only full of ****, but very dangerous as well, BEFORE the bloody election.

Ya don't like being called liars and whiney little bitches...don't be liars and whiney little bitches.
The media is a joke now, and the USA is a mess. Its very sad.

NO IT WAS NOT JUSTIFIED BY TRUMP!!!

As for who actually has the superior record with the afros...I have a feeling Trump's current employment numbers, prison reform and that thing his daughter is doing, kind of put him in the top 5. So get of the pot.

Simply astounding. You have a leader who tells us that windmills cause cancer and doesn't know that it's "Prince of Wales" not "Prince of Whales," and it's the Democrats shouting stupid stuff? Also, Trump is keeping the fact checkers busy, with his speech yesterday.

Example:

TRUMP: "It's soaring to incredible new heights. Perhaps the greatest economy we've had in the history of our country."

THE FACTS: The economy is not one of the best in the country's history.

The economy expanded at an annual rate of 3.2 percent in the first quarter of this year. That growth was the highest in just four years for the first quarter.

But the one that really tickled my funnybone was "I am a very stable genius". No, he's not a genius by any stretch and he's certainly not stable.

Re: [W:89]Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

It isn't that there is "no evidence", it is that there is a US government policy that a sitting President cannot be indicted.

Incorrect.

Show me the statute.

Do you know why this policy is in place?

"There were very good people-- on both sides" JUSTIFICATION!

My Gawd…

Let's take as tippy-toe down Memory Lane...shall we?

Trump said:
Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.

I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.

Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.

You might wanna ask your nun if lying is still a sin...

Easily dispelled false narrative.

People who do not know better or who are not paying attention will listen to this and might accept this false narrative.

"Out of more than 15 minutes of questions and answers, the press glommed onto the three seconds where Trump said “You also had people that were very fine people on both sides.” It was made to look as though Trump had equated white supremacists who hijacked the event and liberals who were there to counterprotest.

This is precisely the opposite of what Trump said.

Trump made clear several times during the conference that he was referring specifically to those who had showed up to demonstrate against the statue’s removal and that he otherwise condemned the white supremacists.

What Trump said, as transcribed by the Los Angeles Times:
“I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I've condemned many different groups. But not all of [the people at the rally] were neo-Nazis, believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists, by any stretch. Those people were also there because they wanted to protest the taking down of a statue, Robert E. Lee.”

A reporter yelled out, “Both sides, sir?”

Referring to the so-called antifa, which was also present at the rally wearing masks, throwing paint, and spraying urine, Trump said, “Well, I do think there's blame — yes, I think there's blame on both sides.”

But Trump also said, “You have some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides.”

He again specified that he was not referring to white supremacists, saying, “You had people, and I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists” [emphasis added].

Later, he said, “If you look, they were people protesting very quietly the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee. I'm sure in that group there were some bad ones."

There is plenty to actually criticize. Why rely on an easily disproved false narrative?

Tell me how it's easily dispelled when the words he spoke are documented on video? How do you erase words that came out of his mouth. It's history and it happened. And what you quoted is his classic attempt at clean-up of his own vile words, just as he tried to change what he said in Helsinki about Putin meddling in our election. "Why would it be Russia?"

"I said the word 'would' instead of 'wouldn't,'" Trump explained, speaking more than 24 hours after his news conference with Putin began drawing fire from allies and critics alike. "The sentence should have been, 'I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be Russia.'"

Yeah well, nobody is that stupid to believe that he meant 'wouldn't' instead of exactly what he said'.

Trump isn't alone in attempting to recast his “both sides” Charlottesville remarks, his supporters like you are, too. Within the past few months, Dilbert creator Scott Adams, Morton Klein, head of Zionists of America, and writers for Breitbart and the Federalist have done the same. Many people are continually trying to clean up his hate filled speeches and comments, it's like being in a supermarket and hearing "clean up on aisle 10" nearly every day. He's a walking, breathing, speaking disaster for this country and for mankind.

Re: Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

No, it's very bad advice. It's the advice given by men like Duterte, Maduro, Stalin and Hitler. Does that give you a clear picture of why it's antithetical to a democracy?

I don't believe that the peope you speified actually gave that advise since they controlled the media much as the left does today here.

And i agree that a biased and "not 'free" press (not free as in "owned and conrolled by an ideology") is antithetical to democracy.

Re: [W:89]Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

Did you know that it doesn't matter whether an attempt to commit a criminal act is successful in order for that attempt to commit a criminal act to be, in and of itself, illegal?

Yes I did know that, but I'm not seeing your point in posting that.

Re: Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

“Democrats will always fight to end discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, language, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability.”

-Democratic Party Platform[/QUOTE]
In reality, the Dems are all about identity politics which means emphsizing such differences - quite devisive. And the way they attempt to csrry out their anti-disrimination desires is to discriminate - "upwrd mobility", "cultural diversity" programs and the such that give jobs, school sests, whaever based on the differences mentioned, hence discriminaing against anyone they are not looking to "help".

Re: Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

Many people are continually trying to clean up .

No need. The entire transcript is there.

What some can dredge up in the sewers of their own minds is beyond assistance at times. Thanks for pointing that out.

Wheee! down the hoax funnel you go.

The “Fine People” Hoax Funnel

"We start at the top of the funnel.

Trump called neo-Nazis and white nationalists in Charlottesville “fine people”

This is debunked by showing the full transcript or the full video in which he clearly, and without prompting, says the exact opposite, that the neo-Nazis and white nationalists should be condemned totally. See for yourself.
AAA-Charlottesville-fine-people-hoax.jpg
The believer in the “fine people” hoax will question the authenticity of the transcript first, which you can debunk by showing the actual video clip here. Once the legitimacy of the transcript is established, expect the believer to retreat down the hoax funnel to the following hallucination.

No “fine people” march with neo-Nazis!

Here you can expect the hoaxed person to hallucinate (literally) a fact that is not claimed and is not in evidence. There is no claim that “fine people” were “marching with” the neo-Nazis, or supporting them in any way. There is a claim that such people were in the same zip code. The “marching with” hallucination is easily debunked by a New York Times article in which they interview one of the non-racists in attendance who love guns and free speech and do not stand with racists, much less march with them. Excerpt here:

AAAAAA-Fine-people lie-NY-Times.jpg

But it doesn’t matter if the New York Times got that story right. What matters is that the President explained his assumption about who attended. Keep in mind that the media has not reported who attended. No survey of opinions was taken, and there were plenty of people in attendance who were not physically marching or chanting with the neo-Nazis.

Once you debunk the “marching with” point, expect the believer to retreat down the hoax funnel to this next point.".....And on and on.....

Thanks for the Dilbert clue. He seems to have spent some time pointing out insanity.

Public demonstration of the "fine people" hoax

Truth should be respected.

Re: [W:89]Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

I'd say they got their wish with President "very fine people," who used that term to describe Nazis marching in Charlottesville.

The real sin is that nothing substantive is being done to stop further Russian attacks on our election system.

I see you were born in 2016, and missed the Obama years. Obama start more **** between the races than anyone I've ever seen. "Trayvon Martin could have been my son" boo****inghoo, blaming the cops for black shootings, and on

The "Top of the tunnel" is not forgetting that the discusson was about a statue and there were two sides to that issue.

Some cop did wrong, but most haven't. It's need to case by case.
