[h=1]Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.[/h]The revelations come as U.S. intelligence agencies have warned of probable Russian meddling in the 2020 election.

LONDON — Russians who were linked to interference in the 2016 U.S. election discussed ambitious plans to stoke unrest and even violence inside the U.S. as recently as 2018, according to documents reviewed by NBC News.
The documents — communications between associates of Yevgeny Prigozhin, a Kremlin-linked oligarch indicted by special counsel Robert Mueller for previous influence operations against the U.S. — laid out a new plot to manipulate and radicalize African-Americans. The plans show that Prigozhin’s circle has sought to exploit racial tensions well beyond Russia’s social media and misinformation efforts tied to the 2016 election.
I'd say they got their wish with President "very fine people," who used that term to describe Nazis marching in Charlottesville.

The real sin is that nothing substantive is being done to stop further Russian attacks on our election system.

Re: Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

I wonder how those documents compare to the efforts made during the Bush I administration to install Yeltsin?

I wonder if the Russians feel that "turnabout is fair play?"

I don't know anything about that.

this has been proven false so many times and yet Dems continue to spew the lie of Charlottesville....FACEBOOK should eliminate it from the feed any and all reference to it.

Dems continue to haul Russia's water playing the propaganda war.

As Groucho said, "who are you going to believe, me or your own two eyes?" I saw and heard Trump say it.

The Liberals delivered big time on this one.

President Trump was talking about the people on both sides who weren't affiliated with the nazis, or the communists.

So, maybe it really is your lyin' eyes that tell you "he called nazis 'very fine people'".

This all just gets worse and worse.

Who are the very fine people on the side of unite the right? Absolutely none.

Re: Russian documents reveal desire to sow racial discord — and violence — in the U.S.

The president never called Nazis very fine people.

He was referring to the people on both sides of the debate that were not affiliated with the neo nazis or antifa. Anyone with a modicum of intellectual honesty knows this.

No it hasn't. Only people with severe TDS think Trump didn't say some of the Neo Nazis and KKK and Charlottesville were very fine people.

1. It was a rally hosted by White Supremacists.

2. It was a rally whose stated purpose was to unite White Supremacists from across the country.

3. People were carrying Nazi and KKK paraphernalia.

4. People were chanting Nazi slogans.

I've noticed that you and I have a very big difference in the people we consider friends. An earlier post of yours indicated that in your opinion someone who brags about sexually assaulting women is "very macho."

Just so you know, in my world, "very fine people" do no attend White Supremacist rallies, nor do they stay to support the White Supremacists. But hey, to each their own eh.

The White Supremacists certainly got Trump's message loud and clear:

One group loved Trump's remarks about Charlottesville: White Supremacists

Neo-Nazis Praise Trump's Response to Charlottesville: ‘He Said He Loves Us All'

And Trump, don't he love him some White Supremacists. His primary campaign strategy for exciting his base is designed to work on cowardly racists. That's what Trump apparently thinks of his base, and so far they ahve rewarded him handsomely.

Hail Trump: White nationalists mark Trump win with Nazi salute - BBC

Trump: I'm a nationalist and I'm proud of it

Nonsense.

Again, it was a rally hosted by White Supremacists, whose stated purpose was to unite White Supremacists from across the country. People were carrying Nazi and KKK paraphernalia, and chanting Nazi slogans.

Of course, maybe we just have a very different opinion of what constitutes "very fine people" because in my world, "very fine people" run the other way when they see a Neo Nazi rally, they don't join in.

I know, we have very different opinions of what constitutes "very fine people". Like I said, in my world they don't attend White Supremacist rallies. Apparently they do in yours.

So, the Neo-Nazis plan and attend a rally and Trump says some of them are "very fine people." What's false?

We have the Democrat Party, which is solely sustained by its lifeblood of racial division. That's all it knows.

So if the Russians are doing this, they're doing it simply by donating to the DNC.

How does the political party that has diversity be sustained by racial division, but the party of white people doesn't?

^^^ Too sensible. :(

Irrationally hating Trump is biggest fad since Ice Bucket Challenge, but that one lasted just a couple of months instead of a couple of years and counting.

So, you think Nazis marching in a torch lit parade chanting "Jews will not replace us" are some very fine people.

Got it.
