Ought a woman get an abortion? I would think not, the same that I would think you ought not shame the public for exercising their rights.

SCOTUS disagrees with you. The unborn don't have the same rights as "people". They are "dehumanized" because they are not people. They are human fetuses.

I never claimed to be tolerant, quite the opposite in fact, of any notions of Christian exceptionalism or dominionism. I tire of them, and believe they are wicked, evil, authoritarian people.

I'll dehumanize them as long as they continue to try and eliminate rights because of their religious faith.

My issue with Sim's is he did his best bully this woman for simply praying. Who are you or anyone else to dictate when and where someone can pray. Now with that said if this woman was blocking the way of someone trying to enter the building, then I might feel differently, but that did not seem to be the case in this video.

It was their choice to get together to pray in a group with other protesters in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic.

I never said they did not have the right to be there.

I said, as a Christian I felt it was disrespectful of their religion to make a show of praying on a public street corner.

As was pointed out in an earlier post:

Matthew 6:5 is literally:

“When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get.

My Christian Faith taught me not to make a public display of praying in public but rather pray in private or in chuch.

I did answer, once you asked. I didn't take offense at all. It was clear that you had made an assumption , based on my defending public prayer, without necessarily knowing my stance on a woman's right. I disagree with the manner in which Sims handled himself in this situation. As a representative he needs to do better.

I understand what you are saying, but I personally believe prayer does not have to be in a church. That's just my opinion and nothing more. I believe Sim's actions were not justified and as a representative he should no better.

Prayer can be anywhere.
I silently pray quite often. I just don’t make a public display of my praying.

Anyway I am not sure she was just silently praying.

Sims told viewers the woman had been confronting the people who were walking into the clinic.

So I am waiting for more info about the woman whom he confronted.

Hopefully, all goes peaceful today , since a new can of worms, seems to have been opened in Pennsylvania this week.

Even if he manages to dodge prosecution, hopefully his latest bigoted and racist publicity stunts will at the very least ... severely damage his political career, and give him pause regarding his future attacks on the young and elderly.

I wonder how many of those protesters also prayed for all all the children that were abused in the Philadelphia area by Priests and Bishops over the last 70 years.
 
Not surprised that feckless bully is too chicken to meet face to face with adults. Sims needs to stick to harassing girls and threatening to dox them, so he can further stalk them at their homes.
I'll tell ya- the Dems really have a bunch of winners, from this POS harassing children, the the blackface/KKK governor, to the accused rapist Lt. Governor.
