On Tuesday, attorney Sidney Powell struck again, revealing yet another huge development in the Spygate saga between the lines of her latest motion. That motion, filed in the still-pending criminal case against Trump’s former national security advisor, Michael Flynn, demanded exculpatory evidence from federal prosecutors.

But unlike her previously filed motion to compel, here Powell seeks evidence “that has only recently come into its possession.” And the evidence sought? The data and metadata from two Blackberry devices used by Joseph Mifsud.

While Powell’s latest motion barely equaled two pages, the implications are multi-pronged and monumental.

That the U.S. government has only recently obtained possession of a pair of smartphones used by Joseph Mifsud tells us two things: that Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s probe into the origins of the Russia-collusion hoax is both serious and successful, and that the Crossfire Hurricane targeting of President Trump and former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation were neither.

After all, Mifsud was the man whose tip to young Trump volunteer advisor George Papadopoulos, that the Russians had dirt on Hillary Clinton, supposedly formed the basis for the FBI to launch Crossfire Hurricane’s targeting of the Trump campaign in late July 2016. Yet no one bothered to interview Mifsud until six months later, when he traveled to D.C. to speak at a conference sponsored by the State Department.

My, my. How desperate are we getting? All Sidney Powell is doing is throwing a bunch of internet conspiracy theory spaghetti against the wall hoping that something will stick. But the reality is that her client is going to be going to jail. He was apparently headed there anyway despite Mueller's recommendation for leniency at his last sentencing hearing because of information in Flynn's file the judge had read that we don't get to see so outraged him. That same judge who was gracious enough to warn Flynn that he might want to reconsider having him hand down a sentence that day and instead see if there's something more he can offer in cooperation with the government. Because from his point of view the scales don't appear to balance. Is is not going any too pleased with how Flynn decided to squander away the second chance he gave him.

No it isn't. Flynn is going to jail and Misfud will still be out there somewhere. Not the first time he has disappeared for awhile.

Flynn may go to jail...I don’t know...but Mifsud is the key to Crossfire Hurricane and what I’m most interested in...data in phone could connect a lot of dots.

Mifsud is a con-man and an all too willing go between for Russia who got in over his head.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has obtained two phones of Joseph Mifsud, one of the central figures of the 2016 Russia investigation, and the lawyer of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has requested them, saying they likely contain exculpatory evidence.
The phones, two BlackBerry models, “only recently” came into the government’s possession, said Flynn’s lawyer, Sidney Powell, a former prosecutor, in an Oct. 15 court filing (pdf).

Data and metadata on the phones “is material, exculpatory, and relevant to the defense of Mr. Flynn,” she said.

When Devin Nunes speaks in public or tweets, countless people laugh at him.

It’s hard to conceive, apparently, how devastating it can be to a powerful congressman to be the butt of silly but pointed tweets.

“In 2018, during his last re-election,” says his lawsuit against Twitter and the cow, “Nunes endured an orchestrated defamation campaign of stunning breadth and scope, one that no human being should ever have to bear or suffer in their whole life.”

The defamation campaign, Nunes complained, caused him to win by a smaller margin than he usually does against Democrat Andrew Janz, the Fresno prosecutor who came within 5 points of unseating him.

It’s almost as if Nunes thinks he is the victim of a vast bovine conspiracy, when what he is really doing is weaponizing the American legal system in an effort to shut down criticism, punish his antagonists and prove to Trump World that, like the president, he will stop at nothing to destroy those who would dare to oppose him. What's your point? It says Alperovitch is a Russian born American citizen who 'escaped' to the United States during the "Soviet Era". That was well some time ago. Not a word about Ukraine anywhere in there or any connection whatsoever.
