It was unverified at that time, most has been verified now, so you cannot come up with any current data, got it.

The fisa judges were told the dossier was unverified opposition research. The credibility of the individual doing the investigation and the american company was and still would be easily enough for a fisa warrant.

The DNC picked up the tab on the dossier after the Arizona right wing newspaper dropped it.

The DNC paid for the Intel, and when received immediately turned it over.

The trump campaign was receiving free Intel and assistance, and lying over and over again about anything and everything they were doing.

See the difference???

I am very hopeful to see progress in the DoJ investigation into all the players involved in the spying, FISA abuse, work with foreign agents and governments, etc..

Unfortunately, it appears the DoJ has too much ethics to provide the leaks and other nonsense the New Democratic Party and the MSM partners used during the Mueller investigation.

Really? Brennan openly lied to Congress during testimony about the Steele Dossier. That fact has been proven.

He, and many others are in deep trouble.

Hopefully all this crap will come out as a result of the DoJ investigation, including the collusion between Federal Agencies and the New Democratic Party's MSM partners.

Excellent question and we are about to find the answer. If we had a foreign government spy on American citizens for us that is a violation of the law. Did you know Australia and UK have fought to keep the facts of this case from coming out. Trump is probably correct that the UK spied on the Trump campaign.

The FBI said the Dossier "evidence" used to get the FISA warrants was verified. That was an absolute lie to the FISA court. They also buried the fact that the Dossier was opposition research paid for by the DNC and the HRC campaign in a footnote. There is your evidence.

Comey had to tell the public about the Weiner laptop because he had been burying it for 3-4 weeks and the NY FBI was pissed and was about to leak the information to the press. Comey had no choice but to investigate 50K or more emails before they declared them OK. So they again went through the motion but didn't really investigate her like they did Trump.

I'm satisfied to wait for the IG report. Its interesting that that Barr has said he has already been working with the IG on this subject. We will see what the report says in the next 4-6 weeks.

I'm guessing the investigation won;t even get that far. It's a PR ploy so Team Trump can distract by looking like they're 'hitting back'. It's also to keep the conspiracy rumors alive so they can keep obstructing and be seen by their supporters to be in the right. But it's still all talk. There'll be no investigation.

The dissonance of the Trumpsters is astounding on this: on the one hand they should stop asking questions and nobody should talk to congress because they know turning over rocks brings out more evidence against Trump. On the other they demand an investigation into the investigation, ensuring those very rocks get overturned , or scrutinized again, and more evidence comes out.

Halper isn't a FBI agent. He actually works for the CIA Brennan loaned him to the FBI. Spying on an American is illegal unless there is a legal predicate. There was no collusion and there was no verified evidence. So there is likely no legal predicate to spy on an American. We will see.

There was an Australian diplomat reporting untowrad behaviour by a Trump representative. (Papadopolous) That's why he was checked up on. Plenty justification caused by Pap himself. No dossier needed.

Over 200 meetings with Russian operatives sounds normal to you? Perhaps you don't care whether a hostile Govt. has penetrated a Presidential campaign but I am glad we have good people that do.

The IG has been talking to Barr and criminal referrals will come with the reports. The targets aren't going anywhere. The Ohrs and McCabe and Comey are in trouble. That is my guess. Go ahead and book mark this. While you are at it read PoweRob's sig the 3rd quote. ;)

Yep that is their cover story alright. Its not enough predicate to spy on an American citizen. Comey is in big trouble. He is starting to squirm. The Democrats are attacking Barr because they are afraid he will expose the truth. They want to destroy him before the exposes the corruption. Its not going to work for them. There is evidence that they started spying on the campaign before the Australian Ambassador spoke with PapaD. There is a reason why the Australians and the UK don't want Trump to release the 302's and the FISA warrants and other classified material. Because it exposes their involvement.
