Trump says he would ask Supreme Court to intervene if Democrats move to impeach him

Hillary won at the ballot box. Dems kicked your butt in the house in 2018

Impeachment is in the constitution, to so complain about impeachment by characterizing it as "overturning an election", is specious reasoning.

Trump is a big fish, takes time to real a big fish in. There are 14 pending investigations, and we already have indictments, Trump as co-conspirator, and no doubt Trump will be impeached.

What is just is to remove an incompetent president who poses a greater threat to national security.

What is radical is that we have a president who is basically ignorant, who has no curiosity, who is fine being ignorant, who has authoritarian tendencies, who is demonstrably incompetent, all of these things and much much more, who is in charge of the nuclear codes.

What would be radical would be to be oblivious to the above and not care.

Dems want to provide everyone with health care, and have done much much more to that objective than Republicans, who are working tirelessly to take it away.

Who is positive?

Trump is in power, he is radical, he is a loose cannon, he is dangerous, he takes up all the oxygen. Go figure.

You're riff about anti-Trump rhetoric might mean something if the above weren't true.

No, Hillary won California by 4 million votes, the most screwed up state in the nation. The strength of this country isn't in the likability of the President but in the results generated. Your state is a mess, and until you get that state straightened out you have zero credibility.

Here's another time the left decides to stick it's neck out, calling Trump an idiot. Do they ever learn? (Answer: No!)

So you cannot win at the ballot box so you overturn election results from the ballot box? The banana republic is what you want knowing that there is no way Trump is going to be removed from office with a Republican Senate and no illegal actions proven. All you radicals want to do is prolong investigations to divert from the reality that your party has nothing positive to run on thus personality is the only issue in our favor. Nominate a candidate that isn't radical, offers something other than anti Trump rhetoric giving the reason for people to vote FOR someone else

Why do you people keep making this claim? Impeaching a criminal president is not "overturning election results." Is there some reason this delusion is so persistent?

Wait. Nevermind. Stupid question.

Correct. No matter how many stupid things he does and we point out, you people never care. We'll never learn.

It is when there's zero evidence.

[h=1]Trump says he would ask Supreme Court to intervene if Democrats move to impeach him[/h]

I would add that the Trump tweet confirms that he has a profound lack of understanding of the constitution in general and this is merely a sample.

The Supreme Court has no jurisdiction to vacate an impeachment, should it occur. The guy really does want a banana republic.

All Trump has to do is have the SCOTUS declare presidential impeachment unconstitutional. And they would do it because, you know, they owe him. Eazy peazy!

Last time I checked, Californians are as much Americans as anyone else in any state, their vote is as valid as yours.

No, "results" are dubious, at best. If you are hanging your hat on that argument as the best reason to vote for Trump, note that 2 years is too soon to judge the economic performance of any president, and if Herbert Hoover were alive, he'd tell you all about it.

39 million people choose to live in California disagree with you.

You have zero credibility for raising an irrelevant point.

It's a hard road coming out of the private sector into the swamp where everyone is gunning for they guy trying to cut their paychecks.

I get that Trump is wrong on impeachment, but knowing Trump, he has a few aces left up his sleeve.

People what the "Old Republicans" back who laid down and let everyone walk on them. Trump is a breath of fresh air to those of us who would like to have a country for our progeny.
What you call "a breath of fresh air" I call a bull in a china shop. He has no understanding of how things work -- in law, science or in business. He was able to succeed in business through corruption and fraud. He has taken government to a new level of swamp. Bloomberg outlined the number of conflicts and scandals.

As for fresh air to your progeny, his administration has succeeded in reducing environmental regulations and safety regulations that will result in your progeny breathing harder. I don't know what you mean by old Republicans getting walked on. It was easy for Trump to push his backwards policies of tax-cuts for billionaires through with a compliant House and Senate. Now that the House isn't his, it's more difficult.

The American people are fickle and the American people are sick and tired of the negativity and politics of personal destruction. There is no value to the American people of an Impeachment this close to the next election but that is all you have, politics of personal destruction as there is no reason to turn the WH over to the Democrats, Radicals like you aren't in the majority
Your hypocrisy is outstanding! The above written by the guy who only had negativity to say about Obama for eight years.

Why do you people keep making this claim? Impeaching a criminal president is not "overturning election results." Is there some reason this delusion is so persistent?

Wait. Nevermind. Stupid question.

After 22 months and millions of dollars in investigating Trump there has been no proof of collusion or obstruction of justice and there is no chance of removal from office so that is exactly what the Democrats are trying to do. Hatred is driving the Democratic Party today thus no reason to support another Democrat for office

Last time I checked California led the nation in poverty, homelessness, worst quality of life, large wage gap, among the highest cost of living and was in violation of immigration laws. Last I checked Mueller found no evidence to charge even Don, Jr. with violations of any laws. Keep showing exactly how radical you and your party has become

Why would anyone vote for a Democrat, who is you alternative?

Trump says a lot of things most of which is rumor and speculation none of which are relevant to the results generated

Your hypocrisy is outstanding! The above written by the guy who only had negativity to say about Obama for eight years.

That is a complete lie, I liked Obama personally but realize person opinions don't trump economic and foreign policy results. Economic and foreign policy results make this country stronger not personality of the President. 22 months and millions of dollars investigating Trump and Mueller couldn't even indict Don, Jr. Where is the evidence that Mueller never had?

Correct. No matter how many stupid things he does and we point out, you people never care. We'll never learn.

Yes, no doubt that the left will keep up the stupidity, fueled by hate. We'll see how this plays out, but Trump will likely be right... again.

Discussions of impeachment is not an election strategy. It's a legitimate duty of Congress' oversight responsibility.
The American people threw the Republicans out of control of the House and gave it to the Democrats. That House has the power to subpoena. We have a president who unabashedly ignores subpoena and has ordered his staff to ignore Congressional subpoenas. This president's defying Congress is a clear abuse of power. Previous presidents who did the same faced impeachment.

“The Congress representing the voice of the people who just spoke resoundingly in an election should use every constitutional tool available to prevent the President from subverting the rule of law. When the President usurps the legislative powers and defies the limits of his authority, it becomes all the more imperative for Congress to act. And Congress should use those powers given to it by the Constitution to counter a lawless executive branch, or this body will lose its authority. If the President will not respect the people, Congress must.” -- Ted Cruz

What a precious gem of a strategic quote from Duplicitous Ted! With Chump in power, apparently Ted's views on checks and balances radically changed!

And on what planet do you live where there is "zero evidence."

The same planet where the Mueller witch hunt said there's no evidence. :lamo

Yes, no doubt that the left will keep up the stupidity, fueled by hate. We'll see how this plays out, but Trump will likely be right... again.

Right about what? The Supreme Court intervening in an impeachment? At that point we've lost the government entirely and it's time to overthrow it. SCOTUS has no authority in impeachment.

The same planet where the Mueller witch hunt said there's no evidence. :lamo

Mueller's report literally told you NOT to construe its statements as saying there's no evidence. GOOD GOD MAN. It doesn't matter what the report says, does it? Your propaganda masters just make up their own version and you buy that **** like its a going out of business sale!

The witch hunt report doesn't present ANY evidence.

Illogical. Wanting a banana republic does not have understanding the constitution as a prerequisite.

I doubt too many banana republic dictators had any understanding of the US Constitution. Trump clearly has authoritarian proclivities. He continues to trip on the US Constitution whenever he attempts to exercise them. This would not be a problem with the Republican Senate would stand for the Constitution and stand-up to Trump to protect our Constitution, but they seem to be a collection of ******s.

He is very incompetent as a US president. He seems to have "promise", however, in aggregating power and manipulating the American political system for his own personal gain.

The Senate Republicans are all under Trump's sway now. There is no patriotism or personal honor left within the higher echelons of the GOP. They willingly sold themselves to this president in exchange for tax breaks for the rich and a bevy of conservative federal judges. Now, they're so worried about keeping their jobs that they are simply unable to DO their jobs.

Yep, Trump said something strange and dumb - another day that ends in "y".

Its kinda funny when the guy at 7-11 says dumb **** every day.

The president? Not so much.

Agreed, right to the bolded part....he can't have a profound lack of understanding of the constitution AND want a banana republic, the 2nd half would insinuate that he knowingly wants to violate the constitution etc. This is either or.

You're presuming he knows what the constitution says.

If it wasn't for spellcheck I doubt he could spell "constitution".

It presents a dozen instances of Trump attempting to obstruct justice. That's plenty for the house to get strated.

Obstruction of justice is impossible in a counter-intelligence probe. Afterall, that's how all these investigations were defined, in order to hide their illegitimacy.

So, what's it going to be: illegal investigations, or counter-intelligence probes? Can't have it both ways.

Oh, and collusion isn't a crime. The witch hunt report specifically sayd no evidrnce of illegal coordination.
