An expert who has been working with the Boy Scouts revealed that there may have been as many as 7,819 allegedly sexually abusive troop leaders and volunteers in the storied organization, according to newly released court documents. More than 7,800 individuals allegedly abused 12,254 victims, according to the court testimony.

That same year, The Los Angeles Times created a database detailing about 5,000 men and a small number of women tied to the Boy Scouts who were expelled in connection to sexual abuse.Warren’s number shows a significant jump in that number and Anderson is calling for the Boy Scouts of America to make the list public.

It's easy to argue why the correlation between temperature and pirates is spurious. Now how do you argue that it's spurious between abuse and sexual practices?

If you don't want your opinion to be taken as pure homophobia, then you must first prove with supporting documentation that there is a statistically significant correlation between sexual orientation and risk of molesting. So let's see that proof. Now.

Yes it is quite silly to draw that conclusion. That number is an estimate starting from the year 1944 and ending in 2016. How many of those abuses happened in the one year there had been gay leaders? Because all of the ones that didn't would have been perpetrated by straight leaders, correct? Maybe they should be making sure all boyscout leaders are gay in order to reduce the number of children abused by straight scout leaders?

20% of girls are sex abuse victims, but only 5% are boys. Yet homosexual men are 2% of the population. This means that homosexual men are about 12x more likely to abuse than heterosexual men.

I was in Church last time I visited my folk and a white haired gentlemen was up front crying about what the queers did to the boy scouts so I have a belated plan to be stowed away in obscurity, except in a few minds with a memory.;:

Do you have evidence that among pubescent teens younger than 18, that the distribution of victims is 98% female and 2% male? Because if not, then the only explanation is that homosexuals abuse more.

You think that's why pedophiles abuse children? Because they are attracted to their genitalia? Pedophiles are almost always looking for an easy victim to sexually dominate. Heterosexual men engage in anal sex, and prepubescent males look a lot more like young women than they do men. Most pedophiles are straight men and they tend to abuse both genders indiscriminately. Access to vulnerable victim and a sociopathic disregard for a child's health, emotional well-being, and consent are the only factors that separate a pedophile from any other adult of any gender or sexual orientation.
