More than 12,000 Boy Scout members were victims of sexual abuse, expert says

Most victims aren't young children. They're pubescent children. I should have said "young" instead of "pre-pubescent" to be more accurate. Who's attracted to a 12 year old boy? Not heterosexuals.

I believe the potential number of gay/bi-sexual Boy Scout Leaders involved was closer to 8,000. The number of their victims is reported to be over 12,000.

The Boy Scouts didn't allow gay or bisexual Scout leaders until the last year included in that count.

The problem here is that you are defining your conclusion in your premises. Not all men who sexually abuse male children identify as homosexual, closeted or otherwise. You are specifically defining any man who has ever had sexual contact with a male of any age as a homosexual and using this to discount their identification of their own sexual identity.

Most people who sexually abuse children of the same sex are in heterosexual relationships with another adult.

Using your kind of argument, why do you assume that only heterosexuals have heterosexual relationships?

A pedo's orientation is children. Male or female doesn't matter (why would it, it's children) and the biological sex of a victim is a matter of opportunity not preference. In general, more male children are abused because male children are allowed greater autonomy and thereby are more often in vulnerable situations.

Warren testified that she has been "on private contract" with the Boy Scouts of America for the past five years, evaluating its handling of sexual abuse within the organization from 1944 through 2016.

1944. It. Was. A. Long. Time. Before. 2012.

Un****ingbelievable. And don't use the pain of young men to advance your hatred of gays.

I didn't. I just pointed out a fact. It is up to a person to identify their own sexuality, and most child molesters self-identify as heterosexual. Some don't, but they are rare exceptions.

It is quite common for heterosexual people to experiment sexually with the same sex at some point in their lives. This doesn't make them defacto homosexual, or even bisexual.

What are you talking about? More females are abused, at about 4x the rate.

Men who have sex with men are homosexuals. You don't get to identify as heterosexual. You're a homosexual.
