That's a terrible argument to make Calamity. Surely you can't mean that. These people are victims of terrorist actions. They have done nothing wrong. What's next. Don't venture outside? Don't go on vacations and stay in hotels?

Hard to say. Obviously millions of Christian people worshiped today without incident. As did millions of Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, etc. So numbers are clearly on the side of the sitting ducks. But, there is no doubt that they are sitting ducks.

There has been heavy coverage here in Australia and it's all over the internet with live feeds from multiple mainstream outlets. People are appalled and rightly so. It's a heinous act.

Only thing i have seen on my local news (antenna TV) was a couple times. They stated the motive was unknown but were dilligent to emphasize Sri Lanka is majority Buddhist. Yeah, i'm sure it was buddhist....

The NZ shooting saturated even my antenna TV for days

Ive always had a cynical attitude. The world really hasnt changed, despite our advances in technology. Humans still kill each other over nothing.

No, not "the world" I think - just some people. Individual fanatics, as in Christchurch or highly organised murderous groups, as in Sri Lanka. It's difficult sometimes but we should keep a sense of proportion.

So who doesn't think this kind of violence is eventually going to wind up in western countries someday, after our governments successfully implement the faux utopia, multiculti transformation? We'll witness events such as the Christchurch tragedy, bombings of Christian churches, and sectarian violence amongst feuding religious sects.

Many far-left liberals equate Christians with groups like Nazis. The truth, however, is that Christians throughout world history have been a group persecuted. It is tough being a Christian. Millions of people have lost their life and freedom simply for being a Christian.

Not that simple. ' ... throughout world history .... ' Christians have done their share of persecuting, notably of Jews. When few were available Catholics and Protestants turned to persecuting each other. Read about the Thirty Years War.

Murder and mayhem becomes endemic to a society when larger and larger numbers of the population become brainwashed to believe they are committing atrocities for good and righteous reasons. Sort of like terrorist bombers in America in the 1960s and 1970s (like Bill Ayers) who thought they were serving humanity by protesting against wrongs they felt needed to be righted by violence and destruction.
