Re: [W:92] Easter Day bombs kill 138 in attacks on Sri Lankan churches, hotels
Because it refers to theological, philosophical, and cultural concepts and not to "millions of barrels of oil in return for millions of dollars". I mean, the menu at McDonald's is a whole lot easier to understand than Kant's "Critique of Pure Reason" isn't it?
Your ability to call the balls and strikes before the pitcher starts their windup is phenomenal.
You might want to take a look at "Al Islam " which is the official website of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
People seldom believe what they do not want to believe and "I can't believe that 'The Holocaust' happened." does not mean the same thing as "I believe that 'The Holocaust' did not happen." - does it. In fact, a more accurate "translation of the first" would be "Although I do not want to admit that human beings could be so depraved as to conduct 'The Holocaust' I am forced to do so because I acknowledge that it did happen." - wouldn't it?
And you fanned on it.
And forget the Qur'an for a minute and just consider daily commerce. Millions of contracts, documents, instructions, etc are written in one language and translated to the other without problem. Why should the Qur'an be any different.

And what "people" would that be? Care to give me just one tiny example????? Didn't think so.

Also, do NOT presume to tell me what I "want to believe".

Maybe you should think a little more before lobbing gratuitous, utterly unsupported softballs over the plate. That was one big 0-fer.
