Anyone who believes the drug cartels are using "mules with calves like cantaloupes" to bring illegal drugs into the US knows nothing about the traffic. We do have the good Christian types like the guy profiled in this article, How One of America’s Biggest Pastors Became a Drug Runner for a Mexican Cartel. Please notice he is not brown, not Hispanic and was not walking across the desert when he was arrested.

Are you aware that the M-16 was one of the least successful of the tank destroyers introduced during WWII and that it seldom actually had the opportunity to perform in its intended role because the Germans didn't attack in the manner that the M-16 was designed to counter?

The Sherman Firefly had a much better track record (but, of course, since that wasn't an American variant, it's impolite to mention it).

Do you know that there is one incredibly simple, absolutely fool proof, method to stop people smuggling drugs into the United States of America and that it can be implemented on an absolutely permanent basis for a one time charge of LESS than $0.00001 per resident of the United States of America?

True, it only matters when considering whether to charge the shooter with "murder" or "unlawful discharge of a firearm" and in that case the colour of BOTH the shooter and the shootee has to be considered.
 
What I wanna know is why hasn't Trump offered these people contracts? They can't fill ICE positions deputize and pay these heroes! I am all for it! Sign all the willing defenders of America up, as long as they have no record and can carry a gun, sign them up now! Pay them well too!

This is one fine example of 'reading' another person's words and supplying an interpretation that has zero connection to the words.


As I wrote in an earlier comment, the cartels do not rely on couriers walking across the hostile territory along the border. Perhaps you should check with the USCG about the people they arrest and the tons of illegal drugs they confiscate - I don't believe the ones arrested were "walking" when they got busted. Then there are the small planes that come across the border, planes small enough to land on country roads, nevermind the cargo containers onboard multiple ships that have been found with tons of illegal drugs.

NOW, have I said anything that might be understood as "no mexicans(sic) are smuggling drugs". -- only in the minds of those who have tightly-held beliefs with little substance.

Timmy McVeigh never had the support of any good American of any party. He was protesting the botched murder of innocent women and children at Waco at the incompetent hands of Clinton and Reno, but that does not mean any politician of any stripe supported him.

As I googled and found the website for this last article, I checked my home base indicator for the site -- Ta Da, it is a Russian 'news' agency. So check with other sources to verify the statement about the Border Patrol having problems recruiting and keeping agents.

First and foremost, it was the M18, not the M16.

Secondly, the historical record doesn’t agree with you; the Hellcat was the most effective American tank destroyer of the war.

Ah yes, the Sherman Firefly. Considering that without the US there wouldn’t have been any Shermans in British/Commonwelath Service, and hence no Sherman Firefly, your posturing is rather amusing.
