‘Putin Has Won’: Mueller Report Details the Ways Russia Interfered in the 2016 Election - WSJ

WASHINGTON—Robert Mueller’s long-awaited report is unambiguously clear on this point: Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election and sought to help Donald Trump win the White House.

That has been the unanimous view of the intelligence community for nearly 2½ years. But it is laid out in unprecedented detail across nearly 200 pages of the special counsel’s report, which also describes Russian efforts to forge ties with members of Trump’s campaign to further the Kremlin’s interference goals.

There is one question that must be answered over everything else: Russia wanted to weaken the US by interfering in our election and our institutions. So why did they believe picking Trump furthered that effort of destruction?

If the Russians wanted to "weaken the US", they did a very poor job at it.

Russia was for Hilary Clinton until she and Bill were getting pounded for taking SO much money from Russians at the same time she was giving Russia 20% of our uranium, while Russia was allowed to invade and conquer Crimea and seize Eastern Ukraine.

In response, Hilary repeatedly promised she would order the US military to directly go to war against Russia militarily - and it became known how psychologically unstable of an explosive temper she has. At that point, realizing war with Russia was unthinkable, rational minds did not want her to become president not only in Russia but among the powers-that-be.
