[W:914,1223] Robert Mueller's report is out

Where does Mueller say he was stonewalled and that information. Mueller is saying that Trump was extremely cooperative.

Didn't the report say that Trump's answers were not satisfactory and he just said "I don't recall this incident" a bunch of times? They didn't get an interview with him because they felt they had the full picture, but exactly where did Mueller say "Trump was extremely cooperative"?

I predicted that this whole thing would end in nothing but a bunch of process bs, and here we are, at the end and nothing but a bunch of process bs. What a waste of money and energy....

John Dean: Mueller report 'more damning' than Watergate

Ex-Nixon White House counsel: Mueller report 'more damning' than Watergate | TheHill

John Dean, the former White House counsel for President Nixon, said Thursday that special counsel Robert Mueller's report was "more damning" than the Watergate report.

“I looked on my shelf for the Senate Watergate Committee report, I looked at the Iran Contra report. I also looked at the Ken Starr report,” Dean said on CNN’s “The Lead.”

“In 400 pages, this report from the special counsel is more damning than all those reports about a president, this is really a devastating report.

John Dean, a republican, served time for his role in the Watergate affair, if anyone would know what is , and what is not, damning, it would be him.

No evidence is not exoneration. That is not arguable.

No evidence means it didnt happen. MUeller looked for two years and found no evidence. Time for you to just admit, Trump didnt do it.

"The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President 's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law."

"We concluded that Congress has authority to prohibit a President's corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice... Constitution does not ... immunize a President for obstructing justice."

If that be so then explain the myriad examples of Obama demonstrating how Above the Law he and
his Agencies were for 8 years.
Ending of course with Obama's Secret stealth in the dead of night Iran Hostage for
American held prisoners Ransom. There was an Iron clad U.S. Policy AGAINST any sort of
Terrorist ransom payoff.Yet Obama did it and when asked just once,LIED about it.
Just like his Move to Invade Libya w/o consulting Congress.
Obama may have been the single most Protected President from any Media scrutiny
in American history.

So he wasnt exonerated afterall? Might want to learn what that means.

If you were accused of molesting a child and after two years of investigation by the authorities, they came back and said they found no evidence it happened, what would you call it?

As for Trump, He was exonerated on collusion and Mueller couldnt make the case on obstruction. Its over.

Just going off various things I've seen commented on in here, and reading the first pages of the report imo this report paints a very concerning picture of the man sitting in the oval office. If not for the people around him I think we'd be looking at an entirely different narrative. The presidents own words (I'm f'd) aren't the words of an innocent person.

My thought after the Mueller report came out was it was just the beginning of a new phase stands.

For the last two years we, supporters of the president, waited patiently for the Mueller investigation to be over. Today, we have the truth.
The truth, we all, as Americans should be celebrating; NO AMERICAN GUILTY OF A CRIME.
Instead, those who preached to us how necessary it was to have total faith in Mueller have turned it around purposely to make it look like Barr is colluding with Trump.

Give me a ****ing break.... shame on these thin skinned anti-American bastards, some pretending to be real journalists from the MSM, and the likes of these partisan hacks like Jerry Nadler, Schiff, and Swalwell. Oh, I almost thought to mention their brainless bootlickers, water carriers...

As you said, the DP Trump haters and Mueller report deniers would be better off ranting to the mirror!

Location: Russia! Russia! Russia! Setting: Vladie Putina's living quarters

Game Room: Wall covered in multiple televisions. Various News sources on each TV.

Barechested Vladie Putina sits in a saddle with his feet in stirrups upon a stuffed red, white and blue donkey named "Over Charge" the infamous reset button glued to it's forehead in memory of Hillary's mistaken Russian word.

As he watches the TV's he takes sips of his favorite beer, Radeberger. (gift from Angela Merkel)

He sets the beer down on an Antique Imperial Russian Khokhloma Samovar Table.

Finally, something interesting starts filling the TV screens.

Talking heads pretending to be real journalists, partisan hacks Nadler, Schiff and Swalwell begin spewing their political resistance spinnings about the Mueller report along with multiple negative Barr and Trump talking points...etc.

Putina grabs his beer in one hand, a Russian flag in the other and raises them both up high as he "cheers" for the resistors and their negative spinning!!!

Then for the finishing touch his feet in golden stirrups, he kicks the sides of the donkey which triggers a sound box.

What is it..that he hears? It is a well known sound...the sound of Hillary laughing her laugh!

Putina begins to laugh with Hillary as he keeps kicking to keep the laughter filling the room.

Vladie Putina has the last laugh as he watches his dream come true.

Those resistors are actually helping him interfere in America's way of life in many ways!

In ways he could never achieve with the types of interference he had been using for years!

Perhaps, the resistors should stop screaming at the sky or ranting into mirrors...

And, take a look at reality and see that they, "the resistors" and not Trump are Vladie Putina's puppets and he is pulling their strings to help him interfere!
Interfere in ways that, he >the Russian President Vladimir Putin and all his cohorts could never have achieved without the help of all of those, so called journalists, government Representatives, the brainless bootlickers and water carriers, who are being used by Vlad as his foolish American insider resistors puppets.

:twocents: Tale of Woe, Roseann:(

Depends on how rich you are.

Indeed. I'd prefer we simply stop treating so many non-criminal things as criminal and devote the savings to prosecuting AND defending crimes that "count". The ADA always has more access to resources. They can call their cop connections and have a witness snapped up, something looked into ,etc. Defense has to beg the judge for money to hire someone to do it and is stuck with whatever the judge wants to allow.

And the meaning of caseloads varies. Prosecutors may have high case loads, but they only have to deal with X cases given that the possible maximum sentence vs. amount of time it would take to defend a charge generally counsels in favor of guilty plea to charges one is innocent of for poor people facing misdemeanors (perhaps even minor felonies).

I could go on. And on. And on.

And on.

But yeah, depends how rich you are. And it does so because we do not care nearly so much about "freedoms" and "justice" and "the constitution" as many of us like to tell ourselves about.

What if you were protected from being criminally charged with molestation because you happen to be President?

No evidence means it didnt happen. MUeller looked for two years and found no evidence. Time for you to just admit, Trump didnt do it.

That's actually what some people call a logical fallacy.

"No evidence" does NOT mean something did not happen. "No evidence" means you do not have the evidence to prove something happened or even support the idea. But not being able to support a proposition does not logically entail the truth of its opposite.

Example: if A then B.

That means if you find A, B necessarily happens.

It does not mean that if you do not find A, B does not happen. There could be "if X then B" and you don't know about it.

That said, nobody has cause to rely on a statement that there is "no evidence" for a thing in order to prove the proposition that the thing did happen, either. "No evidence" just means "I can't establish the following proposition". I haven't read your exchange. Is one or both of you not playing clean?

Why would you ever waste your time doing such a stupid thing?

To separate fact from fiction. Many on this forum haven't even read the most basic tenets of the report and have been wasting their time bantering about incorrect information. "No obstruction, no collusion" is a lie.

Do you honestly not have anything better to do with your life?

Who said anything about prosecution? We are talking about an investigation. There was plenty of circumstantial evidence to begin an investigation. Trix is trying to claim there was absolutely no reason except partisan hackery to investigate. Simply not true.

how do you know? I think we need to investigate THAT as well.

The liberals say it smells like rotten eggs when it is leaking...

...but, once it is released into the open air, there is no smoke, there is no fire, there is no explosion.

Buried in footnote 745 (page 120), Mueller’s Report crushes last remaining MSM "collusion" hopes centered on June 9, 2016, Trump Tower meeting involving Donald Trump Jr:
"The investigation did not identify evidence connecting the events of June 9 & the GRU's hack-and-dump operation." https://www.justice.gov/storage/report.pdf
Mueller's report makes no reference to the involvement of Fusion GPS in the Trump tower meeting, but the Russian attorney involved in it, Natalia Veselnitskaya, was a Fusion GPS associate and met with founder Glenn Simpson before and after the Trump Tower meeting, why didn’t Mueller look into that? The Report also notes Veselnitskaya's work for Prevezon, which was charged with money laundering and sanctions violations, yet fails to note that Clinton campaign contractor Fusion GPS was working for her and Prevezon on that issue. How does a collusion investigation miss that?

This meeting was supposed to be the best evidence of collusion; Junior was meeting up with this Russian government attorney to negotiate over sanctions in exchange for promised “dirt” on Hillary! The DNC reported their hack about 10 days before the meeting, I’d expect Junior thought he’d be offered the hacked DNC material, what “dirt” did the Russian lawyer have? She offered records of wire transfers from Russia to accounts related to Hillary’s campaign, but said Trump’s team would need to investigate these for any illegalities. She said the Russian banking authorities deemed the transactions a tax evading capital flight exercise, but she figured they’d be illegal foreign campaign contributions which could be of interest smearing Hillary. Junior wasn’t interested and left, the Russian lawyer tried to persuade those who remained that Trump should try to get the Magnitsky Act repealed. There was no deal.

Oh for goodness sakes.
It's over.

Any minute now!

...the witch hunt will drag Trump kicking and screaming from the Oval Office.

Or

"How To Turn A President A Lot Of People Didn't Like Into A Figure Of Sympathy As He Endures Insane Persecution"

Trump is like the worthless, pigman version of Assange; sympathetic not because he's a hero, but because he's being unjustly hounded by sickos.

Oh.

And nothing burger.

I'm happy for Trump! No President should have to go through this. It's time to start rounding up all those responsible for this failed coup!

Just an observation. You're obviously very sad about today and my truth telling.

Why would I be sad? I get to watch a bunch of delusional people think there's a chance in hell that Trump will be impeached.

Didn't anyone notice that there are 12, count them, TWELVE, referred and active investigations identified in the report? I've spent much of the day trying to read and understand the report. It was both eye opening and disturbing.

I find it disturbing and depressing that there are so many posters here that care so little about their country. Seriously. Read the friggin' report and explain how these activities by the Russians and the President are somehow good for the country. If your standards are so low that "well, he wasn't convicted" is appropriate as qualification for the friggin' PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, you've got a serous problem in the head, and such a weak moral standard that I genuinely hope you don't have children. I suspect that you won't read the report because there is nothing, nothing in this report that is positive for the country, the President, or the presidency. This is, genuinely, worse than Watergate.

I respectfully disagree. What he is trying to cover up(his financials is my guess) is what is going to do him in.

As long as something does him in - fine with me.
