President Trump is considering releasing illegals into Sanctuary Cities:

President Donald Trump has acknowledged planning to free immigration detainees in Democratic urban strongholds as a political retaliation ploy.

The Republican president tweeted that his antagonists should be "very happy" about the idea given their "open borders, open arms policy".

He said he was targeting so-called sanctuary cities, which have policies to aid undocumented immigrants.

But there was scepticism on the left and right about Mr Trump's idea.

Mr Trump tweeted on Friday: "Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only."

The president's declaration undercut his own White House, which had denied in a statement that the plan was still being considered.

Mr Trump's comments followed reports in US media that he had wanted the Department of Homeland Security to release detained migrants in sanctuary cities.

Dems are certainly hypocrites if they don't welcome Trump's plan with open arms - after all, Obama himself had ensured that various bunches of illegals were resettled into US cities on his orders.

Dems who try to undermine Federal law by declaring themselves sanctuaries will now have to put their money where their mouth is - or else their rhetoric on sanctuary is just a hollow false bluff.

Meanwhile, actual liberals everywhere are saying "yeah. we welcome people in our cities."

So now I ask you, OP. Do you want more illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities? Is that part of your goal? Sanctuary for illegal immigrants?

She's mad because Trump's motivation is purely to attempt to inflict harm on those he perceives as enemies. That's what always motivates you people.

Which harm are you alluding to? Can you tell me what this harm is? Can you please spell it out for me? What harm will happen if these illegals get sent to the Sanctuary Cities?!?!

I don't want illegal in any city, but those hundreds of thousand that are coming in every month need to go somewhere. Why not send them to the places that welcome and protect them?

I'm trying to understand how transporting large numbers of illegal immigrants into some of the largest urban areas in the country and releasing them from federal custody improves border security.

Just out: The USA has the absolute legal right to have apprehended illegal immigrants transferred to Sanctuary Cities. We hereby demand that they be taken care of at the highest level, especially by the State of California, which is well known or its poor management & high taxes!

let me get this straight. Trump wants to use funds from a cash strapped agency to take people he doesn't want in the country in the first place to cities where they would more than likely end up anyways in order to own the libs. Do I have that right?
