For 2019, Canada will be admitting between 42,000 and 58,000 refugees.
For 2019, the US will be admitting no more than 30,000 refugees.
Taking the average for the Canadian numbers ([42,000+58,000]/2) , and adjusting for relative population size (37.06Mn vs 327.2Mn), that means that Canada is taking in (proportionately) 14.7 times as many refugees as the US is taking.
The "Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America for cooperation in the examination of refugee status claims from nationals of third countries" came into force on December 29, 2004 - when George W Bush was the President of the United States of America would require the government of Canada to reject "Those People" should they travel across the US from the Mexican border and seek refugee status in Canada.
You really aren't suggesting that the government of Canada should break the laws of both Canada and the United States of America are you?
That's it? :lamo
There were 100,000 border crossers last month, on the US/Mexico border and that's the ones that we know of.
Looks like Canadians need to step up, or shut up.
