After the arrest of the WikiLeaks founder, Trump distanced himself from a group whose work attacking Hillary Clinton he frequently cited in the 2016 campaign.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Thursday that he knows "nothing about WikiLeaks" hours after the arrest of the organization's founder, Julian Assange, and two-and-a-half years after he frequently cited its information dumps about Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign.

"I know nothing about WikiLeaks," Trump told reporters at the White House, where he met with South Korean President Moon Jae-in. "It’s not my thing. I’ve seen what’s happening with Assange.

His "I know nothing about WikiLeaks" has already been fact checked. Do you know that Trump is on record mentioning WikiLeaks over 100 times?

Does Trump think everyone in this country is as gullible and easily duped as his fan base is? This is another case of Trump lying just for the sake of lying, like the lies about his father being born in Germany.

There is something very wrong with President Trump. He has a sickness.

Borowitz deserves an award for his writings. The man is hilarious.

Obama revealed that he had hired forensic detectives to study Trump’s utterances and tweets to determine the extent of his verifiable schooling, but, so far, they had found “no proof” of a fifth-grade education.

“Donald Trump claims that he attended elementary school,” Obama said. “All I’m asking is, where’s the evidence?”

There is very little that Trump could do that would cause him to lose support among his loyal base.

He didn't quote him, he was translating Trump speak. Trump isn't exactly the most articulate person to become President. Given the way he spoke about Assange after the comment, I think he is likely correct that was what Trump was trying to say.
