AG William Barr says 'spying did occur' on Trump campaign, is reviewing whether it was lawful

Yes, that's why we must look to conservatives as role models who deny the unanimous consensus of every single scientific organization on the planet on climate change, and believe instead a Manhattan real estate guy who tells them it's all just a Chinese hoax. Got it. :lamo

How can we know that unless we see the report? These hearings have confirmed that the previous reports that Mueller had prepared summaries of findings ready for public consumption were true. The summaries, according to the prosecutors, were prepared in such a form to allow quick transmission (e.g. attach them to Barr’s original letter). Barr refused to do this, just as he has refused to request the court give permission to send the whole report to Congress. Why would Barr act in such an underhanded fashion?

The hearings haven't confirmed any such thing.

But don't worry, if those summaries don't have anything in them that will be redacted, you'll see them soon enough.

We know that one of the principle conclusions of the Mueller report is that Trump and his people had nothing to do with Russians.

That removes any notion that Trump and his people had anything to do with WikiLeaks.

Well, I'll give your confidence in Barr's objectivity along with your lack of confidence in the leaks from Mueller's investigators and white house officials contradicting Barr's "summary" the credibility it deserves.

Keep trying - you've almost got me convinced Barr's a straight shooter :)

Hey Lurch you need to come over to the light side. Barr had the guts to say what he said publicly he didn’t hide behind anonymity like the Mueller leaks did.

Alright, Buddy. If the full report ever becomes public and it proves that trump and his campaign have been, "totally exonerated" as trump and Barr claim, I promise you - you will be the first person to whom I will apologize!

No. The claim that all of the scientific organizations on the planet are in some giant conspiracy to lie about glibal warning is a kooky conspiracy theory. Conservatives in general love their conspiracy theories... because they are so into facts and real evidence and are not going to let their emotions get in the way ! :lamo

As a nation, we've endured 2 plus years of investigation and breathless speculation that our President conspired with the Russians to steal an election only to find out in the end that it was all bull****. I think we can and SHOULD endure a little more to find out whether or not there was something nefarious behind the whole ordeal. We need to if we're ever going to to get passed this as a nation.

Let them investigate and let the chips fall where they may.

I was just asking for some type of basis for your comments. Guess you don't have any.

Wrong. We have only heard Barr's conclusions. Not Mueller's.
