Rhino poacher trampled to death by elephants then eaten by lions at Kruger National Park in South Af

When we were in Kenya our safari driver told us that when an elephant has his ears spread wide, he’s trying to send a warning by looking as big as possible. When he lays them back, it’s time to get out of there.

My driver told me, "get out of the window, that cheetah will grab you." Maasai Mara.

Can't let that happen.

First: progressives, liberals and Democrats ARE conservatives, just of a different sort.

Second, who was this poacher?

A poor villager desperate for some money to feed his mother, child or wife?

We'd need to know a lot more about the circumstances of this to comment wisely or condemn.

Third, was he a poacher?

How was this established?

Fourth, non-poaching hunters like Trump Jr. actually HELP endangered animals by participating in high-dollar controlled kills.

Fifth and finally, we're ALL poachers.

This dead poacher (if he was one) was just the tip of the spear that human population expansion is driving into the rest of the animal world.

That disgusting slimepit who killed the juvenile mountain lion and then went on a media campaign to be celebrated by idiots for his sociopathic behavior?

An inevitability of human encroachment into the kingdoms of other animals.

So we can celebrate this (alleged) poacher's death all we want, and then go look in the mirror if we want to see a living one.

The fact he was a poacher was confirmed by his accomplice poachers who survived.

I celebrated his death, just looked in the mirror, and celebrated his death even more.

Maybe I can make this political... So an elephant helped get rid of this bad guy, and it looks like the donkeys just stood by and did not help at all. There.

The Donkeys were just being asses?

Maybe he was just trying to feed his starving children?

Hey, I'll bet you say that too when a homeless father of 3 is arrested while robbing a store. "He was just trying to feed his children! Nothing to see here. Let him go!".

Do you have any idea how rhinos and elephants suffer at the hands of poachers? At the very least, he assumed the risk of hunting where large dangerous animals live. Feeding the lions on his way out was probably one of the few good things he’s done.

Frankly, I wish stories like this one were far more common.

Then go kill a rhino, or a RINO, don't rob another human being.

I don't feel sorry for the guy, but I don't celebrate his death either. I pretty much look at it as nature taking care of itself.

You know, I'm not really glad that the guy was killed, it doesn't seem like an offense that someone should die for. His own stupidly got him killed, I'm certainly not celebrating it.

I don't kill RINOs. I leave that idea up to the rabid citizens of Trump Fan Nation. You want to kill some RINOs?

I think I need some kind of special gun for that. One that knocks the stupid out of them, so they're a RINO no more.

We stopped at a pool where hippos and crocs coexist, and I got out of the jeep and walked up to the pool edge to take pictures. After I was there for about 5 minutes my driver advised me that crocs like to swim underwater and look for shadows being cast on the water. They then swim up to the edge where the shadow is and attack. I advised him that I could have used that information a little earlier.

Awesome. I didn't get to go that far in (paid a taxi owner/driver in Narok for a week and headed to the Gate). I was only in a Corolla and we didn't go as far as the the Kenyan side of the river crossing. The entrepreneur taxi owner that went with me had never been in the park before. I had my Maasai guide from the organic college, and we picked up a traditional Maasai at the gate as a park guide.

I expect when family comes to visit, after I buy my land and settle, we'll push to the river.

And I'd bet you have no idea what I'd say.

^THIS He is Darwin award material however.

Why not?

Its the circle of life.......

and Karma...she IS a bitch!

It would really be karma if the fools who think that rhino horn can help give them a woody would get charged by the rhinos that they're driving to extinction.

In the law, we call that assumption of risk. Race car drivers assume the risk of crashing. Fighters assume the risk of getting a broken nose or a concussion. Stunt pilots assume the risk of their plane blowing up. And poachers, being wasted by the critters they try to shoot illegally.

Bummed out, I am NOT.
