George Conway rips Trump: 'Worst kind of dumb' | TheHill

George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, lashed out at President Trump in a new series of tweets early Thursday, saying that he is a liar and "the worst kind of dumb."

"As I said to @sbg1, to understand Trump 'you have to look at everything through the prism of his narcissism.' Once you do that, pretty much everything makes sense," the attorney said in another tweet, referring to The New Yorker's Susan Glasser.
=======================================================
Conway further stated, '"He lies even when it makes no sense to lie. As one of his lawyers once told me, Trump couldn’t be allowed to talk to Mueller because 'he’d lie his ass off,' " he added.

Conway has been one of Trump's harshest critics.

I find this kind of stuff depressing. It all feels like one absurd reality show at the national level.

George Conway, a lifelong Republican and conservative, is 100% correct that Donald Trump is both mentally ill and unfit to hold his office. He must be removed from power ASAP.

George Conway has certainly been ramping up his offensive on Twitter. His wife Kellyanne, has been accused of leaking inside stories. I’m trying to make sense of the attacks from George and the deflections from his wife.

......maybe there is a “method to the madness?”

That means the 25th Amendment but I think Trump has bullied those in his cabinet to the extent that it wouldn't work. He's paranoid.

Well we did elect the Reality-TV President. I think this is what we get when we do so.

His wife is in the pay of the wealthy Mercer family who bankrolled Trump's campaign for unclear motives. She is, I suspect, still there because she is a conduit through which the Mercer's keep tab on Trump & the WH.

He is mentally ill suffering for extreme narcissism and delusions. He needs to be removed ASAP by any legal means necessary and that means including the 25th Amendment.

Yep.

We all told the indies who voted for this freak show what would happen.

These men both have the emotional maturity of 7 year old kids. Everyone knows that Trump is a hateful, spiteful thug but George Conway should at least have the decency to shut up if for nothing else but for his wife. I'm thankful that this isn't Trump versus a democratic 'whoever' because that democrat, whoever it would be, would be absolutely hammered with criticism by the right and blamed for it all.

There's nothing good that can come out of this, particularly for the children of the Conways..

I think some voted for Trump as a way to not vote for Hillary. I think that most people thought that a Trump Presidency could be bad, but perhaps not as bad as it turned out. We'll see what happens in 2020 and if the Dems can get the votes out and if enough of those who rue their vote for Trump will vote for the Dem candidate.

As long as the Bernie Bro's don't spoil the party when their fantasy leader doesn't get the nomination.

Don't get me wrong, I like Sanders, but he's too over the top for a general.

The USA has always been one absurd reality show at all levels.

Doesn't matter. Trump will call him a leebrul and angry Democrat. LOL.

Yet here you are expressing your view. GC should be silent because Americans believe so strongly in freedom of speech. Stunning hypocrisy comes to mind.

He is decimating Trump and his children should be thrilled by his bravery and actions. If more Americans possessed this kind of bravery, way more innocents around the world would not continue to be slaughtered.

I don't think the "Bernie Bros" spoiled anything. I think Hillary was a terrible candidate and ran a **** campaign. So the Dems need to get someone with much higher appeal than Hillary and who will be competent in their campaign against President Trump. It's quite possible to do, even probable. But they can also flub it up if they aren't smart about it.

Although I really think that Kellyanne Conway has lost her soul to Trump, I still think it's wrong of her husband to put her through this kind of humiliation publicly. Don't these people have any consideration for their 4 children? These kids are probably ****ed up enough by now and this is only making things worse.

Kellyanne Conway is in a tough position because she absolutely cannot defend her husband for the things he's saying. If she wants to keep her high paying, high profile position, she has to pander to Trump and defend him against her own husband. This is just a horrible thing that's happening in real time and it should have never happened. If any of these parties had a shred of respect or dignity, it wouldn't have.

Clinton ran a ****ty campaign, but so did Trump, and Republicans still showed-up. That's because Republican voters saw the bigger picture in SC picks, and they got what they wanted by putting their differences aside at the ballot box.

So I guess Trump grabbed that ***** and held on. She might be disappointed when Trump doesn't leave Melania for her after her divorce.

Obviously the two Conway's are living separate lives and are just delaying divorce proceedings until Kellyanne is out at the WH.

Listen, this goes far over and above George Conway's 'freedom of speech' and you know it. These things that he's saying can be said in private face to face. Just because Trump is a lowlife scumbag and shames and mocks people in public on twitter doesn't mean that someone else should suddenly shed the cloak of decency they've worn al their lives and get down in the stink pit with the pig.

Obviously you don't know **** about raising 4 children or perhaps you've forgotten what it's like to be a 10 year old boy. Trust me, they are not 'thrilled' by anything that's happening publicly between their parents and Trump. These kids have to face other kids every day and those kids are not going to be kind about this. They will repeat what they've heard their parents say about their father and mother and hopefully those Conway kids are strong enough to withstand this.

Perhaps without meaning to, you just portrayed Kellyanne as craven and thoroughly unprincipled.

Trump ran a Reality-TV campaign, and sadly we are a Reality-TV nation. America loves the train wreck, and we got an epic one in Trump. I mean, if the Republicans could see the bigger picture, then the Dems should have been able to as well. But they lost states they had traditionally won and not because of Sanders, but because people didn't show up at the polls. Trump knows how to get ratings. He was able to get people out to vote. That's still going to be true in 2020, so whomever the Dem candidate is, they will need to realize that and factor it into their campaign strategy.

I don't think it should be particularly hard to beat Trump in 2020, but I also don't believe that it should be taken nonchalantly. It can't be accepted as some foregone conclusion that they'll win. I think in many ways, Hillary did and it's one of the reasons she lost. If you're going to start attacking factions within your own party, then you'll just end up with the same outcome in 2020.

There's something creepy that's been going on between Kellyanne and Trump. On one level, Kellyanne is filled with self-pride that she was able to achieve a level of importance and prominence that very few people, particularly a woman, ever achieve. Of course, there was Mother Teresa, but she gained her prominence through self-sacrifice not self-serving. But seriously, I watched Kellyanne yesterday boasting about how her kids weren't too happy about having to move to D.C. because of their mother's job. Her point was, and it's a very valid point, that throughout history the husband's job took priority over the wife. That's been the logic because a man always earned more than a woman. So, Kellyanne is proud of that and she's not going to let go of that easily and will go the extra mile for Trump to keep it. There's another creepy little thing, she giggled as she stated that Trump refers to her as 'honey'. Maybe she thinks that makes her special but Trump probably refers to any 'broad' as 'honey' or 'doll'. That's how NY thugs refer to women who they don't actually respect anyway.

It sounds like she’s completely lost her mind.

We’ll never know for sure until the Netflix tell-all comes out, but I guess George is hanging around for the kids.
