From CNN
(CNN)A Kentucky student is suing his local health department after it barred students who aren't immunized against the chickenpox from attending school and canceled extracurricular activities during an outbreak that has affected 32 people.
Jerome Kunkel, a senior at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart/Assumption Academy in Walton, Kentucky, refuses to get the chickenpox vaccine, citing his Christian faith, reported CNN affiliate WLWT. He and his father allege that he's being discriminated against because of religious beliefs.
Last week, the Northern Kentucky Health Department announced that all students at the school who don't have "proof of vaccination or proof of immunity against chickenpox will not be allowed to attend school until 21 days after the onset of rash for the last ill student or staff member."
This also affects the school's sports and extracurricular activities, which have been canceled to avoid spreading the illness to other schools and places.
COMMENT:-
Since ALL "Christians", "Jews", and "Muslims" (as well as "Sikhs", "Hindus", "Shintoists", "Jains", "Zoroastrians", "Wiccans", "Atheists", and a whole lot of others) are being "discriminated" against by the same ruling, someone should investigate whether the lawyer who is getting paid for the conduct of this law suit is taking money under false pretenses.
HOWEVER, I do have a suggestion which will completely resolve the issue.
The young man SHOULD be allowed to take part in all school activities, right after he posts a cash bond sufficient to "exempt and save harmless" the school board/district from any potential adverse judgments against it because of it allowing him to inflict "severe mental distress" on the other children and staff because of the increased risk they know that they are running due to his position on vaccination PLUS another cash bond sufficient to "exempt and save harmless" the school board/district from any potential adverse judgments against it because some child actually gets sick. I think that a sum in the neighbourhood of around $1,000,000,000,000 ought to suffice.

Teen who refused chickenpox vaccine says school is limiting his activities. So he's suing
