Devin Nunes sues Twitter for parody account pretending to be his mom and cow

Everyone has their priorities. Investigations into kingpin Trump? Putting people under oath testify about corruption? Oh heavens no! I'm too busy trying to sue the twitter account that posed as one of my cows!
 
Twitter allows for parody accounts as long as it’s plainly stated in their profile that they are a parody. Presumably, it’s known that DevinNunesCow is a parody account as cows don’t have thumbs to tweet.

Now THAT is a non-MSM resource.... ;) I think the real question is, how fast will the court dismiss the suit? “In her endless barrage of tweets, Devin Nunes’ Mom maliciously attacked every aspect of Nunes’ character, honesty, integrity, ethics and fitness to perform his duties as a United States Congressman,” the court filing says ... He does realize that truth is a defense, right?

(BTW, the suit is filed in Virginia STATE court...)
 
Lol, good luck. Twitter's lawyers could burry Nunes for the next 80 years.

I admit, when I first saw this story, I thought it was satire. His cow, however, claims she is "very afraid", and avoids him like a butcher.

He really has. Even though the original accounts have been suspended, there are many more out there now since the story has created so much more exposure.

The Ghost of Devin Nunes Mom is up and running now which has information posted on the original account.

He's opened a can of worms, for sure.
 
This lawsuit is going nowhere. Parody was settled by the Supreme Court, which allowed a parody ad by Hustler magazine, featuring Jerry Falwell having sex with his mother in an outhouse, to stand. Scalia wrote the majority decision on that, which by the way was unanimous.

Nunes just screwed himself by filing that lawsuit, and he will take over from Falwell as the resident legal system laughing stock.
 
Here's an article from Nunes' home town newspaper. According to Nunes, Twitter doesn't let "conservatives" tweet. It has a liberal bent:
The lawsuit accuses Twitter of hiding, punishing or “shadow-banning” posts with a conservative bent – including those from Nunes – while simultaneously allowing others to profit from defaming him. Nunes’ attorney, Steven S. Biss, claims Twitter “allowed (and allows) its platform to serve as a portal of defamation in order to undermine public confidence in Plaintiff and to benefit his opponents and opponents of the Republican Party.”

which leads one to wonder about the many tweets of Donald Trump. Maybe Twitter considers the Donald to be a liberal.

What's even funnier to me is when the suit was filed, Devin Nunes' Cow had something like 1,200 followers. Now the account has over 90,000 followers.

Don't Worry! He's a Republican. Therefore all rules are suspended, anything they've done to smear him is fair game, dismiss the suit, and charge him for even filing a suit.
